USC is about to drop due to losing Lattimore, and Auburn will be knocked out after LSU beats us. We are down as a whole, and it kind of sucks. I wish the SEC was like it was last year, every year. That was a war.

The SEC has been down every year a conference member wins the NC.

Just the SEC west has 3 teams in the top 9. Thats pretty impressive. With another at 20.

The SECw had 5 in the top 15 last year at the end, we'll have to see how it turns out at the end of this year.

We hear that the SEC is down every year. This year, it's really just the East, and the East is way down this year.

LSU and BAMA are the two best teams in the nation. Auburn is decent and Arkansas has only one loss to the #2 team in the BCS.

As for OM and MSU, OM is plain garbage and MSU is the best 3-4 team in the country

I'm willing to be we can stay somewhere in the rankings. Our defense will still smother people UT and UF are going to be rough but certainly winnable. And we sure as hell still be able to beat down the Citadel. So I still think 8-4/9-3 is reasonable.

And again if our defense plays strong they'll be able to keep us in games. Hopefully to a point where our offense will be able to get through when it needs to.

People think we're down because the top 2 teams can steamroll everyone else in the SEC with little chance of winning.. But that doesn't mean the other 3 ranked teams can't beat most other teams in the country also.

I have no doubt that AU is capable of beating anyone in the SEC right now. It's the SEC. Mostly anyone can beat anyone. I say mostly because Ole Miss and UK are hot garbage this year.

Sometimes I wonder... hell, UGA almost lost to a Vandy whose O is 117/120. Sure we've got 5 in the top 20's.. but one or two are there by default, not b/c they're good.

The East wouldn't be that weak if they didn't have huge injuries. Lattimore, Brantley, Bray - just killed three East teams. UGA is the same as always under Richt - pretty good. USC's D is as good as anyone's. They just didn't have a QB - now they don't have a RB or QB (and their WR is over weight).

I get a kick out of Texas people. They are like......Skip Bayless and Craig James. Brainwashed by FoxSportsSW and their 1980's football experience to ignore football outside on the Big 9 or whatever.

For example, they truly believe Texas Tech is a football power.

SEC is down from last year. I don't care what the rankings are, in comparison to last year the SEC is down. Watch the games and the teams play, it's obvious.
