Teams almost entirely even across the board IMO. I'll give the edge to Bamas OL, we'll be down a starter or two across the front in the Bama game.

If we had all of our starters our line would be

it might. Refer to WVU game and check out Geno Smith's stats.

Cowherd just said that Alabama has the better quarterback play.

He said LSU takes too many chances on defense and that he thinks Alabama will win by 10 when we play.

I'm not saying he is wrong about his score prediction, but I don't see why taking chances is going to kill us. Taking chances makes the opposing team have to make plays as well. It's the reason why LSU is 4th in the nation in turnover margin. Alabama is 51st.

If LSU wins the turnover margin in that game, they're going to win the game.

Once again, let us know when Florida or Bama run the same offense that West Virginia did.

I think both secondaries are phenominal, but the amount of turnovers that LSU's defense forces (specifically the secondary) makes me think that LSU's secondary is slightly better only because they force so many.

Alabama turnover margin: .2 (with 3 fum & 5 int)
LSU's: 1.8 (with 6 fum & 6 int)
(per cfbstats.com)

If LSU wins the turnover battle against Bama, they're probably going to win. If they lose the turnover battle, they're almost assuredly going to lose.

That's the way I look at it.

Has our secondary ever gave up 450 passing yards?

Nope...

Well considering brantley had about 200 in less than a half it might have ended up close to that if he had stayed in....Once again it was THE SCHEME! We played a soft zone and gave up the short passing game once we had a substantial lead and they took the yards but couldnt put it in the endzone.

He meant more along the lines of going for big hits in the secondary, going for interceptions, etc.

Not that we blitz too much or anything like that.

Either way, I disagree with him.

Bama shut that shite down after FLA's first two possessions.

To be fair, most of our turnovers came in the first game of the season. We didn't turn it over a single time against Arky or The Jorts.

I hope the Bama fans keep using this.

No. We didn't watch the WVU game. We missed it. The LSU's secondary can't stop anything. They're terrible. AJ McCarron will throw the ball vs. LSU 65 times.

So y'all are gonna run the same offense that West Virginia did? Is Florida going to?

This is a retarded point. I love that people keep using it.

Lookin forward to this but Bama(mostly AJ) will shite the bed on this one. As much as a disciplined team like Saban's can.

That would actually be fantastic.

They sacks/INT #'s would be off the charts.
