LSU has some tough games prior to Nov 5. We should not even talk about this until we are sure they have not blown it.

Why? Will the game be cancelled if LSU loses between now and then?

P.S. The one thing no one mentions about defense is that Saban is much better defensive mind than Chavis.

Saban is an outstanding defensive coach. However, so is Chavis.

Jordan Jefferson had his best game of the season last year against Saban's defense. Don't forget that.

Yeah, and our punter sucks too. If I find out those motherfrickers are actually on scholarships that we could be giving to more invalids who secrete growth hormone then i'm gonna be pissed

Are punter is pretty awesome, thankfully.

Field position and turnovers will play a large part in that game (in any game, really), so hopefully that helps us out a bunch.

Should be a great game. LSU needs to take one game at a time, anything can happen between now and Nov 5th.

D-Line - LSU
Linebackers - Bama (by a large margin)
Secondary - LSU

O-Line - Bama
Running backs - Bama (because their O-line is built for running the ball and ours it built for zone blocking or read option)
QB - LSU
WR/TE - LSU

Special Teams - LSU

Honestly, I will be less nervous heading into this game than any I can remember being a tiger fan. It's just so damn close that to freak out over a loss would be stupid, and to rub it in, or talk shite about a win would be just as dumb. This is just one of those games that you sit back and enjoy, and whichever team comes out on top, they were the better team that day.

But I must say this is one of LSU's best offensive lines in quite some time.

Also LSU's rb are pretty close and I actually like the depth better for LSU.

and coaching =

As a whole Bamas secondary is a touch better. We just don't have any super beast freaks like Matthieu.

NOT...haven't watched much LSU FOOTBALL have you.. Bama does have better linebackers though,...LSU has better kicking game all around, and that will make the difference in the game..LSU WINS BY 3..

Has our secondary ever gave up 450 passing yards?

Nope...

You heard me Goddamnit. Menzie is the best corner on our team and locks and entire side of the field down. Whoever LSU lines up at WR opposite of him might as well sit fricking indian style at the line of scrimmage. I'm not being a dick because ya'lls corners will shut our WR's down too. But you can't sleep on Menzie.

Yes I have. Every game. And I guarantee Bama would not have let WV get close to 400 yards passing.

If you count HB7 as an LB, then I can't say Bama's are "way better".

Has your secondary ever had the ball thrown on them nearly 70 times and played prevent the entire 4th quarter

Nope...

Trust me...if your QB throws the ball 70 times against LSU you'll lose too

Epic game.

This is sacrilege in LSU terms, but this being a Bama home game, the Tide should be favored in this game. In fact, I hope they are favored. Meanwhile, LSU needs to focus on beating some Gators.
