Baseball and football. Can they keep it up in baseball?

Will the do any better in football or have they peaked?

No devious agenda here btw

Baseball: Still kickin arse

Football: Will fall apart when Spurrier realizes he can play Augusta without having to coach USCe.

Baseball: Will be the premier program in the SEC as long as Tanner is there. Even without him, they'll still be very good.
Football: They'll be very good for the next one or two years with Florida, Tennessee and Georgia being down at the moment along with having a transcendent talent like Lattimore. After that, I see them being comparable to a team like Ole Miss and topping out at about nine wins.
Basketball: Depends on who their coach is.

They are miles ahead of where they were 5 years ago, much less 10.

depends on who they hire after Spurrier's retirement. head coach could make or break a program and this applies to every program, even Bama.

Agreed. Although the margin for error is less at a program like SCar

Carolina baseball is going to contend for the CWS championship almost every year for the foreseeable future. There will be occasional hiccups, just like with any program, but they've made baseball the priority there. The facilities are second to none and there is no shortage of talent in the area.

Carolina football is going to be Carolina football. They'll be a notch better than Kentucky and Vandy but a notch below the legitimate SEC teams who lead the SEC East. They will never be better than UGA, UT, or UF for any length of time. They may beat them every now and then, but they're #4 in the division over any 5 year period you can pick out and that's where they belong. Why we didn't pick up Clemson instead, I will never know.

Spurrier's gone in 2 years max. When Garcia is gone, they'll be an 8-9 win team at best.

they could EASILY surpass Tennessee if they keep it up and Tennessee doesn't get their shite together in a hurry.

No. Their absolute best ever has been only marginally better than Tennessee's worst ever over the past 5 seasons or so. If Spurrier retires without a conference title, they'll have spent over a decade under two Hall of Fame Coaches without a damn thing to show for it.

Must be difficult to put this many hours in one day hating on one school.

You must have brain damage to think they'll be better for any stretch of time. South Carolina has only beaten UT once in Knoxville.

Baseball, we have always been good, so we will at least be that. Hopefully we can sustain the level that we have had in the 2000's, and I think we will as long as Tanner/Holbrook are in town.

Football is iffy. We have done more this decade than any other in our history, and as sad as it is, its a start. We have to make sure we make a dynamite hire after Spurrier retires so that we can sustain the success (albeit small in most of your eyes) and keep on building. Our fanbase definitely deserves some success, because we have suffered long enough.

Baseball: Remain a dominant program and contend nationally.

Football: Spurrier has made them respectable, but they have been a 7-8 win program since his arrival. I don't see them getting much better than that.
