Good to hear Jazen is doing well. He could be a top 15 pick in the NFL Draft if he works hard enough, on and off the field.

He will be a pretty damn good NFL CB. Dooley has said he will be playing some CB this year in situations against elite WRs if possible.

Is he quick enough for corner? I remember Eric Berry being hyped as a future NFL cornerback, but he ended up a safety... At least he will do better than Neiko Thorpe at corner

He's much quicker than EB, but a lot smaller as well. EB could easily play CB though. His first game of his career at Tennessee as a true frosh he started at CB and shut down DeSean Jackson.

Armed robbery and smoking pot in his room, with bags of possession, and this guy is fully reinstated. Yeah, he's must have tremendous talent.

IMO we won't really see how special Janzen is this year because teams will destroy UT on the ground.

OK? Why? Do you think our DL line is weak this year? It isn't where it needs to be, of course, but I guess you missed UT's DL last year when we played 3 DEs on the line with one DT. If you would have said this last year I would have more than agreed with you. I watched Oregon run the same dive play 8 times in a row because we had not one DL over 260 last year. We have several this year. We've added Mo Couch, the top JUCO DT, Marlon Walls, Ben Martin are both back, not expecting much from them due to serious injury last year. Finally all SEC first team Malik Jackson. The LB corp. does have questions, however there is talent there, not a lot, but there is talent. Greg King, is healthy finally, we also have 2 top 10 LB recruits in AJ Johnson and Curt Maggit, you may recognize their names from last year when Muschamp put the full court press on them, but they both turned him down to play for Tennessee.

Back to my original question... Why do you think Tennessee will struggle to stop the run?

I don't think we will get killed on grond, but run defense is by far our weakest area on paper. We should finish between 5th-10th in conference on run defense.

I agree we have a way to go, however do you remember how bad Tennessee was at stoping the run last year, when only had one DT. Dooley has done a good job of addressing the needs, he's upgraded the secondary a lot, and has some talent at LB and DL, they're just inexperienced.

We have some players that have potential in front seven, but if any of those players turn out to be busts or leave school or something, we don't have any depth at all. We are about 2 good recruiting classes away to being at level of some of top schools in SEC. We really need AJ Johnson and Maggitt to be stars. Losing Lathers for first part of year worries me too. But,yeah i agree with ya, we will be fine in a few years.

And he also said this......"we were all standing around catching our wind, when Janzen ran to the corner convenience store with a gun and got us all free gatorade"!

It's good to see him in his old form.

Best player on the entire team, and one of the elite DBs in the conference?!
