I see LSU being able to dampen the advantage of their quick O with gameplanning and wearing them down due to size advantage on both sides of the ball.

LSU's defense will be the deciding factor, oh and Spencer Ware.

I wasn't particularly impressed with Oregon's talnt in the last NC game. They hung around like a Beamer team, but Auburn was clearly better and should have put them away much earlier. If that game were played 10 times, Auburn wins 7-8. I expect the sme kind of game with LSU. Miles will let them hang around, but in the end he puts it away and people reading the stats wonder why the score was so close.

LSU D-line will win the game, 4 rusher getting to the ball and stopping the run, leaving LBs to help with coverage will shut em down, 38-17 LSU sounds good

I'm very confident that LSU will win this game.
It seems like Chip Kelly's Oregon offense always gets shut down when:
a) Oregon is not playing in Eugene and
b) the opposing team has a long time to prepare and study Oregon's offense either because it's a bowl game matchup or it's the first game of the season.

Add in the fact that Les Miles' LSU teams have been nearly unbeatable in OOC games and this is one of the easiest big games to predict the winner of.

tigerstadium 11, when you say cause it worked so well last year, I am assuming you are referring to their gaudy offensive numbers for the season. Granted, they slinging it.

But, I see us using the AU gameplan as a sort of template. No we don't have Cam Newton, but yes, we do have firepower on offense if we can get our act together.

And on Au's defensive performance, I came away very impressed with their soundness, and with their conditioning.

I see no reason why we can't show up and perform similarly in a stadium where we last played, and do the same.
The potential is there, the question is will we step up. I think so.

Justed wanted some opinions of those who don't wear the P and G glasses like me...

SW11 having a 100+ yard game would also help

Game is close, cause that's just how we play under Miles. In the end, LSU is much better in the trenches and will run on them.
