I am talking about the type of D where the other team is doing good to simply get a first down, or cross midfield, and avoiding turnovers by not having it pried from their grasp, because getting into the endzone is next to impossible type D. Have offenses gotten the upper hand in the SEC with the likes of Sumlin and Malzahn? Or is our team in the process of bouncing back from the recent NFL defection?
In these posts I see a lot of strong stances on man's role in global warming, or lack thereof. I tried to convey earlier that I am completely uninterested in information/opinions/facts pertaining to that.

I see no posts that supports or refute the notion that this vortex theory exists with arctic warming, and with the only current flaw being that the arctic is actually getting colder.

Any takers for or against? Perhaps the lack of input speaks to how half-backed this theory is.
I am not disputing or supporting the idea that global warming could make areas colder.

What I want to know is if those stating that this cold IS ,in fact, from warming, what warming are they basing this on? What I am reading states that the area in question is cooling, or more specifically increasing in freezing.

What measure are they using to support that this is from warming that I do not see?
So, I never heard of the polar vortex before this cold snap.

In hearing that the cold temperatures could be from global warming that has resulted in melting of arctic ice, and then learning that arctic ice has increases profoundly in recent years, I read up on it a bit and came away with questions.

How is this theory not an outright lie?

How can you theorize that the cause is from melting, when it's been freezing now in a remarkable way?

In the 2 minute video below, the guy talks about increased warming relative to other latitudes. So, is it a relative air temperature difference that they are basing this on? Is there an air temperature component that is warming, that exists even with the gain in sea ice? (I could not find data on arctic air temperature patterns.)

Is there a chronological component to this that I am not aware of, thus this exists because of previous warming?

Are they disputing that ice is increasing?

There's something to be said for tradition. There's a fitted hat with helmet mike on the front that is pretty sweet. Something to wear with pride.

I think this was on the Dandydon link to the basketball commitment this AM. When I saw it, I wondered why it looked like helmet mike and not Toonces. Maybe it has changed officially after all.

Here's the link.

OK, so we are moving up?
Again, I don't know, and don't pretend to.

I would not consider myself to have been a regular fan since the days of CJ and Shaq.

I remember the good years under Brown, and the drought after, until our recent final 4 run. I thought we were back. But we weren't. And we aren't.

When will we be?

Shoiuldn't it be reasonable to expect LSU to make it in to a field of 60+ teams about every year?

I really have quit following basketball for a long time, so I don't ask these questions sarcastically. There may be some selection committe reason, or RPI reason that I am clueless about.

Thanks

Not Sure, just recall something about him being positioned to break records as a Senior.

From the little I know about him, he's got mad skills.

Would love to see him in P and G!
:geauxtigers:
First, if he has the measurables

Second, he is approaching /breaking LA. receiving records

Third, is playing against talent in a district that cranks out D-1 talent, Faulk, Roman, Trev Faulk?, Alley Broussard, JV, Cutrera, Alleman, Desean Smith, etc.

Fourth, Pa Pa was a college coach

Seems like he should be in the top 100.
I don't see Jacobs on the roster. Was he #84?
good was intentional.

But my bad on marquee, as opposed to the car!

First off all, I love seeing my Tigers impose their will on the ground. We do it as good as anyone in the country.

But, that doesn't excuse our inability to effectively implement:

1. Marquee receivers year after year. On our current roster that would include players such as such as Landry, and Beckham Jr. Last year it would have been Randle.

2. Utilize backs better in the passing game, like we did with Joseph Addai back in the day. Ware seemed underutilized in this regard. Seems that using the big fellas like Copeland and Hilliard from time to time this way could work.

3. And the Tight ends. Seems like Clement might have been capable of more, but what looks did he get in 4 years here? 20-30? We had Dickson coming around in the last couple of games. Does Edwards play TE anymore? Is Nic Jacobs gonna remain at TE? Supposedly Desean Smith is the real deal.

I think it keeps a defense off balance when they have to be ready for a pass to a back or tight end on any given play.

So, if Cameron can just better utilize our passing game with our numerous weapons in a run heavy offense, I am down with that.

:geauxtigers:
among the most complete and deep group we have had in recent memory.

Hill
Hilliard
Copeland
Blue
Magee?

I think they will more than make up for loss of Ford and Ware.
