This will be our consolation if the Aubs lose. A whole year of bashing and harrassing.

You do realize that some are smarter than to base it on pride right? Many are smart enough to see the macro vs the micro. You sir stare at the micro.

Done. You can pull your email now if you need to.

I'm pulling for Cam to get his eggs scrambled on the first play, and I'm pulling for Oregon to win by 1,000 pts. Since I'm pulling for both, does that make me undecided?
Seriously though, it'd be nice to see an epic AU meltdown tonight.

Ok then, tell me the macro on why I, as a Georgia fan first and foremost, should want Auburn to win the biggest game possible.

Here is my take:
This is the first time the SEC and PAC10 have met in a bowl game since 1989. This is the first time in a BCS game. And it is for the BCSNC. This has been 7 years in the making since the 2003 split title. PAC10 fans are ready to assume the mantle of college football's best conference tonight. And I have been reading Oregon sites and they do think with a win tonight they have the two best teams in the country and the SEC has no reason to claim to be better than the PAC10. That will actually make some sense if they win.
So, that is why you should pull for AU. It is about conference pride. It is about a game that has been a long time coming - SEC vs PAC10 in the BSCNC.
That said, pull for whoever you want. As an Aubie, I am not bothered by SEC fans pulling against it. This one is for us.

I have said since the end of the year I would pull for the ducks but as gameday gets closer and closer. I just can't pull against by southern brothers.
Even though we hate each other through the year. It is kind of like someone messing with a family member.
So as bad as I hate to say it. Go Tigers! Bring it home. If I don't i just couldn't look myself in the eye. I was born and raised in the South and I will die there....

Not talking to you, dumbshit gump. You need to sit and home and suffer and remember we beat your arse after spotting you 24 in your on back yard in the best atmosphere your program has ever seen.
So frick off.
So frick off.

Right...but we've still had battles in the regular season. This decade ASU, UA, USC, OSU, OU, and UCLA off the top of my head have played SEC teams. It's not like we're completely unfamiliar with each other.

Not really. This game doesn't have nearly the appeal that USC/LSU has/would have had.

I don't wear hats or shirts that say 'SEC' on them. I'm a Georgia fan. I want what's best for MY school. A major conference rival winning the national title in no way, shape, or form helps Georgia.

For the love...we're not starting the Civil War back up people. Damn. I've been in the South my whole entire life and have no intention of leaving, I understand, but Auburn winning or losing this game will have NO bearing whatsoever on your southern-ness or your way of life.

Um, no. This game is the most expensive in US sports history. The ratings will probably be through the roof.

That is fine. I can respect that. Myself, I would still pull for UGA.

Because neither team has "been there before" and the stadium only seats what, 70,000? That would be in the bottom half of the SEC.

We really will have to wait and see what the actual ratings look like.
I believe there is a LOT of interest and anticipation in this game. Lou Holtz said the other day it is the most anticipated BCS game ever for him.
