If so, it didn't really look it.

Thought they were going to be all white.

The stripes on the pants did look a little different with the "A" above them.

Yes, they wore them against MSU.

The helmet stripe and numbers had a subdued houndstooth pattern and there was an A on the pants leg.

Yeah they wore it, but you could barely notice it (or at least that was the case with me) Their numbers and stripe on their helmet was supposed to look like houndstooth.

Yea we wore them, there were just very subtle differences. That's the only way we agreed with Nike to do it.

It was very subtle, which was good. The houndstooth on the numbers was barely visible even when they zoomed in on them.

I honestly forgot we were wearing them until about the 3rd when I noticed the script A on the pants. Glad I didn't really notice.

Got to give it to Alabama for sticking with tradition.

Surprised NIKE burned the pro combat on Alabama considering not much PR came from it.

There was a flag on the sleeve too. Did y'all notice the metallic crimson on the bottom of the cleats?

Yeah I didn't even notice either, till someone mentioned it and then the most noticeable thing to me was the A on the pants.

Flag on the jersey was cool

I think Alabama needs to adopt the houndstooth pattern like a school would a color so that it is associated with the school and not necessarily Coach Bryant
