You do realize the eligibility issue is still being investigated. The NCAA was never going to rule on eligibility before the game. They are still working on the issue.
The only issue was whether Auburn would play him even though he may at a later point be ruled ineligible.
So of course he is eligible at this point. You just stated the obvious captain.
The question still lingers as to whether he will be played tomorrow.
I doubt that will be answered by the Powers That Be until tomorrow.
But thanks again for not understanding the terminology and repeating the obvious to us.
