2002 - Ohio State (14-0) - Beat 7 teams by 1 touchdown or less
2003 - LSU (13-1) - Lost to Florida
2004 - USC (13-0) - Beat 5 teams by 1 touchdown or less
2005 - Texas (13-0) - Beat 2 teams by 1 touchdown or less
2006 - Florida (13-1) - Lost to Auburn
2007 - LSU (12-2) - Lost to Arkansas and Kentucky
2008 - Florida (13-1) - Lost to Ole Miss
2009 - Alabama (14-0) - Beat 2 teams by 1 touchdown or less, beat the crap out of a 13-1 Florida team, and a 13-1 Texas team.

And yet, you STILL lost the game. That has to sting, I bet.

All that "schooling" got you nowhere. Congratulations.

Auburn looks like they are one of the top two teams, along with Oklahoma. They both have flaws, but they are the top of the class.

That's the typical outlook for a Bammer that doesn't think his team will make it....when you can't do it,...then its a down year...

you do realize that dominant teams don't hold EVERY school they play to ZERO offensive plays, right?

Because our defense stone-walled your bitch of a Heisman Trophy running back.

sure did. apparently the coaching staff put ALL their energies into a game plan that.... JUST couldn't get it done.

face it, Auburn was beyond lucky to be in the game late. LUCKY for auburn, they made a couple of good "schooling bama" plays and they all actually scored. kudos. your team still sucked last year mr 7-5 barely beating northwestern lol.

Auburn DEFINITELY looks better than Boise St. I hate Auburn and all, but they deserve to be ranked higher than Boise St.

No team has dominated a schedule like Bama did last year since the Miami Hurricanes of 2001.

Maybe you skipped watching USC or Texas

Texas dominated every game except for the OSU game at columbus early in the year.

None of those teams needed luck to win the fricking season as opposed to Bama, who did.

I am mentioning only the no-loss teams - there were some single loss teams that were better as well.

Bama was still the Champion last year - just don't make them out to be the 2005 Horns, leave alone the 2001 'canes.

The same thing the rest of the SEC said when Bama was undefeated. Pot, kettle, etc..

I think there isn't a dominant team this year, but it's hard to win every week. Kudos to the undefeated teams, especially the SEC teams.

Bama. We played TWO teams somewhat close... dominant teams beat the frick out of nearly everyone on their schedule. We did that.

Doesn't mean you can't have a down game. You know we were dominant last year, and I know we were dominant. Honestly, you're just trying to blame shift or something... i don't know what it's called, but you're definitely not being real if you don't think Bama's team last year was thoroughly dominant.

Well, if that's the standard by which he measures "dominance", then Auburn certainly isn't dominant this year.
