I hope I'm wrong, but I've got a feeling we have way too much confidence in Kilcrease. He's been our most consistent pitcher this season, but our offense hasn't done anything in this SR. I just have this sick feeling that we'll be watching Clemson dogpile later today.

Again, I hope I'm dead wrong.

I wouldn't expect help from a team that couldn't even make it out of the opening round.

No way Clemson wins today. Pack your bags for Omaha.

Keep in mind that the school we are playing teaches choking in big games as an upper level class that is required of all student athletes.

Clemson could very well be the luckiest team to ever play sports. I am pulling hard for Bama, but I really think the little Tigs will win.

That's funny...everyone says they always tend to choke...so if they were the luckiest team, then it would seem things would go their way and they wouldn't choke as much as they do. Are you saying that they are the luckiest team b/c they always seem to beat USC, but manage to choke against everyone else?

Luck only runs so far. When that luck runs out, they choke. It's really not that hard to understand. All he is saying is Clemson gets some of the biggest breaks in all sports.

I think today could be a slugfest. Clemson fans don't have too much confidence in their starting pitcher. Looks like they are throwing him hoping to get 3-4 innings to help set up the next two guys to get them to the end. If Bama bats can come alive early, could be a real long day for Clemson.

Bama has to feel good with having their true #2, or possible #1, for the deciding game. However, even with a week's rest, who knows how long he'll be able to go after throwing 200+ pitches last weekend. If Clemson's bats can get a few early hits on him, I think Peanut may tire out early as well.

Also, with both games previously being night games, will be interesting to see how both teams play in the mid-day sun with a noon/1 p.m. gametime.

I have a feeling that both teams are going to be pitching a ton of pitchers today. If Bama doesn't, then Peanut is going strong and they will likely be on the way to Omaha.

Okay, so basically, if Clemson wins, they will be lucky. If they lose, they will have choked. Got it.

I never said anything about if they win. I only said they get the biggest breaks often. You're reading too far into this.

Yes. My point exactly. I have seen it way too many times.

Fortunately, how anyone feels, who hates, who pulls for or against us doesn't mean squat.

And you went 0-4 against us. Even if you win and move onto Omaha you would probably be one of the worst teams to ever grace the field at Rosenblatt.
