I just watched the Lane Kiffin show

He said Mount Cody took of his helmet while the play was still live and Bammer should have received a 15 penalty and Tennessee should have been allowed to retry another field goal. He also partially blamed the referees for Tennessee losing to the gumps. Does anybody agree with him?

It is a penalty so he is right, but its not the refs fault UT can't block Cody and the kicker can't elevate the kick.

Doesn't surprise me in the least. Making excuses only sets up hurdles for you and your team in the future though. I hope he keeps blaming everyone and everything instead of taking the blame himself and realizing they need to improve.

You're as dumb as Kiffin then. With the flag, which should have technically been thrown, would have only given Alabama a 1st and 25. The ball crossed the line of scrimmage. Change of possession. However, the clock ran out. Game over. Read the damn rule.

The SEC has already released a statement on this and they will release another one Monday sanctioning y'alls assclown coach.
Was it the refs fault y'all missed two field goals?
When a team has to rely on getting an onsides kick and a field goal to win they should not win the football game if they miss the kick. Y'all were not in the game until a couple of flukes at the end.
Y'all have another loss coming in Knoxville next year, so get ready for that.

Kiffin once again runs his mouth without knowing the facts. It would have been a dead ball foul. Alabama would have taken over and lost 15 yards. No do-over. Time to change your favorite team again Calhoun.

From what I heard on the radio yes, it should be tom morning. I am glad our coach can own up to his own mistakes, regardless of how many he makes.

If Tenn would have made just 1 of the previous fg attempts then it wouldn't have mattered. If I was UT I would blame the kicker.

Bob Kessling, who is Tennessee's play by play announcer, also asked Kiffin why he did not pass the ball more and try to get closer for the game winning field goal at the end of the game. Kiffin said he was afraid the referees would call a penalty on Tennessee if they tried to pass the ball and he did not want to put the game in the referees hand considering some of the calls they made earlier in the game. He clearly put part of the blame for Tennessee's loss on the referees
