they ran the score up on an overmanned wku team. If that was lsu fans would have complained of miles running the score up in that fashion.

They played a game at what felt like 9:30 at night, after traveling 2500 miles to get there. And that 0-12 team from last year was without their starting QB and starting RB..

Washington will probably fall somewhere in the 3-4 range in the Pac-10 among the ranks of Cal and Oregon State.

i'm sick of hearing about ppl hating on UT.

yes we played WKU.
yes we beat them by 56.
yes they are absolutely terrible.
no the starters didnt play the whole game.
yes 4 of our touchdowns were by freshmen.
yes we will def know more about our season after UCLA.
yes Florida is gonna beat us bad.

We're just pumped about actually playing football and beating teams like we should! Fulmer might have won that game 28-7! I dont know of one tennessee fan that expects to beat florida or win more than 8 games.

So let's please cut down on the "i hate kiffin" and "vols fans are excited about beating a nobody" threads. Its getting old and i'd personally rather talk more football and less "my team vs your team" trash talk.

Do Vol fans realize that they beat the very worst team in the FBS this past week? Do they realize that Western Kentucky was a FCS team just two years ago and they went 2-10 last year?

Nope, I had no clue. I was certain we played a team that had at least 8 players on Mel Kipers draft board for next year...

TIGER BAIT TIGER BAIT TIGER BAIT, Good luck to the rest of the SEC this weekend, GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!!

the problem with your request, is that it's going to be rendered useless. get used to it. try being a Bama fan for the last 10+ years.

So you think the West will suck as a whole, since I've seen you talking shite about all 3 of the Big 3 in the West.

Eric Berry said he was MORE PREPARED than he has ever been MENTALLY for the WKU game..He said the staff passed out "crib notes' on the guy they would be lined up against, guarding, etc... And after the plays were over..THEY RAN OFF THE FIELD and met with their position coach..for MORE COACHING..No more Fulmer over there clapping on the sideline like damned trained seal...Bryce Brown broke a 40 plus yard run and Eddie Gran met him coming off the field..Chewed his arse out good for running out of bounds..

Nobody is expecting MIRACLES..but UT under Fulmer had gotten content to be MEDIOCRE..Since 99 he had losing seasons to LSU, Auburn, Georgia and Florida..While Kiffin isn't gonna knock off Florida or Bama this year..His players will PLAY HARD..That is one thing, that is why so many freshmen are playing and so many players left..You don't practice hard..You don't play hard..You ride the pine or go someplace else.

The team came in up 28-0 and BeBe and Kiffin told them to SHUT THE frick up..they weren't beating anybody and should be up by 5 or 6 tds..and they went out and beat them.. With Fulmer had the helm we would have won ah, maybe 35 -14.. the quarterback would have thrown for 200 yards and Fulmer would have been talking about "we have to work like heck" to get better and we will have to watch the film"..Fulmer had gotten stale and complacent..This staff can recruit..Bebe Like him or not can coach the Hell out of the defensive linemen, Monte can run the defense..you got Eddie Gran coaching the running back snd Jim Chaney who was OC at Purdue when they had Kyle Orton and Dree Brees running the offense.

Better jump on us this year..We WILL GET THE RECRUITS and it won't be long until UT is an elite team again..It's gonna happen.

except beat a shitty team like we should, haven't done that in a while.

Does it mean we're going to be great? Absolutely not.

Well said Bro. Anyone who beleives LSU is also not to be feared is an idiot. We'll get a chance to see how much they've improved since last year when Florida comes in to their house this year.
I Think Reuban Randle will be an awesome Player in time. We recruited him heavily. The LSU-Bama game is always a nail_biter. Jefferson is much better at QB.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised with the general reaction of UT fans. They destroyed a team they should have destroyed, and most of them realize that. I think most of them are optimistic, but cautiously optimistic. We were the same way 2 years ago.

What I don't understand is Auburn fans. They beat LA Tech handily (though the game was much closer than the final score) and suddenly their fans act like they are the favorite to win the West. I saw on a board earlier today that some Auburn fans thought they were "very impressive" while Alabama was "unimpressive." Many also shared the sentiment that if Alabama and Auburn played now, Auburn would win. Hello? You're one game removed from a 36-0 beatdown. A win over LA Tech suddenly changes things that drastically?

A few of my brethren have already made this point, as have I, MANY times.

We beat the worst team in Division 1 exactly the way we SHOULD beat the worst team in Division 1. Badly.

It doesn't mean we suddenly think we are going undefeated. It means we know we've turned at least SOME kind of a corner since the disaster that was last season.

Yawn. If you are going to try to talk smack, please be creative or funny.

Yes, we would "gizz" our pants to go 7-5, because God knows, it's been 2 long years since we posted such a respectable record.

I understand you are grumpy and in a bad mood, since you haven't experienced a BJ in 6 months.

I'm sure you have forgotten what they taste like.

LSU Slacker

Let's take into account each team's schedule. I would say conference but I don't think WKU was in one last year?
