If you told me at the beginning of the season that we'd be top 6 in THIS beast of a conference in both stats, I would be ecstatic. This conference is ABSURDLY good.

State vs USM rematch should be interesting. Big week for State with all four games being against USM and OM.

Even worse is the fact that we have not faced anywhere close to the top pitching in the conference. Carolina is towards the bottom and Bama is probably middle of the pack. And our pitching was supposed to be the strength of the team, but looked like shite yet again.

We are headed South with quickness.

Gonna need a lot of guys out of the bullpen to step it up this week with McPherson going down.

Gave up 9 runs over 3 games to a supposed top sec hitting team. I'm not too worried.

Yet.

I haven’t seen anything but if it’s taking this long to put something out about it, it can’t be good.

Reading between the lines, doesn’t seem like it’s for sure season ending, may just be a several week thing, but I don’t think he’s pitching in Oxford this weekend.

LSU gave up 33 runs over 3 games (13, 11, 9 runs) to Vanderbilt. Vanderbilt is hitting .227 and ranked 13th even with that performance.

Another clueless Dalton post.

LSU issued about a billion walks and hit batsmen that weekend and played poorly defensively.

Every single year since weve had yeskie, our pitching has improved as the year moved on.

LSU is closer last weekends performance than the Vanderbilt series.

If you guys think we're giving up an average of 8 plus runs every weekend you're either dumb or just ignorant to baseball in general.

No doubt. Its been a bad start. Title defenses are hard. Not that Texas fans would know anything about that.

In any men's sport. For the past 20 years.

LSU had a horrible start the year after their last title defense and was one out away from hosting a super. I'll trust Jay to get it fixed.
