If you guys think we're giving up an average of 8 plus runs every weekend you're either dumb or just ignorant to baseball in general.
Here is the average runs allowed in LSU’s four three game series so far.
Milwaukee (3-0): 5 runs/game
Sacramento State (1-2): 5 runs/game
Vandy (1-2): 15 runs/game
Oklahoma (1-2): 3 runs/game
Some other pitching gems from this season include: 7 runs to Kent State (W). 7 runs to Indiana (W), 7 runs to McNeese (L), 13 runs to Northeastern (L), and 7 runs to UL-Lafayette (L). LSU has given up 5 or more runs in 12 of their 25 games.

Oh good. I can finally cancel ESPN+ or whatever they call it this week. Been keeping it just for our 2 games with Southern Miss. It's not worth $14 a month for 2 or 3 games per year.

Lol so it seems like our front line pitching had an aberration against vandy and is closer to giving up less than what our current league era is. Good job Dalton! Great work.

How far do you think a 5+ ERA will take you with that .242 batting average?

Let's see where we end up. I've already said its been a bad start. We've gotten better by the end of the year literally every season jay has been here.

It’s astounding to me that we are hitting the ball better in conference play than we were in non conference play.

Texas ERA during SEC games
first 8 innings

Title defenses are hard. Not that Texas fans would know anything about that.
yeah i'm sure you learned a lot about defending LSU's title by eating crawfish in the parking lot LMAO

I'm sure you've watched LSU baseball all through the 90s and 2000s and 2010s too like I have.

Caught the end of the Georgia game. Nice attempt at a comeback by Georgia to make it a close game after being down 9-0.

Is it bad that I’m more impressed with USA’s offense than Georgia Tech’s? They’re putting far more pressure on us early than GT did.

I watched that Auburn/GT game. Y'all dominated them. I was somewhat surprised to see Auburn drop the series against Texas at home. I still think Auburn has a lot of potential this season with the immense pitching talent on that team.

Went 2-2 against two top 5 teams last week and Texas was just a little more elite than us. No shame in that.
