The SEC is tainted having the flagship Texas schools within it.

They are only going to get richer.
Maybe it was cool having one, but both will degrade the overall conference over time. It will skew towards them.
Oil will get more valuable and so will they.

In the changing landscape of college sports where money is king…. Eventually teams with lots of money will dominate.

Trust me when I say this.. not sure any team in the SEC were in any kind of panic over Texas joining the SEC.
It’s Texas + NIL. With NIL at Texas being the real issue. Just Texas… no one gave a shite beyond baseball.
