We don't have a player that can consistently take over a game, and can't play perimeter defense. And we will be an 8 or 9 seed, so that means playing the 1. 1st or 2nd round exit.

The Georgia fans in here with the pessimism as if the tournament will have a bunch of unstoppable swinging dick 1991 UNLV teams that don't have flaws. It's college basketball and all teams have flaws and anything can happen. That said, I wouldn't want to play Duke or Florida in the second round. Other than that though, frick em!

Given the last time we won a tournament game was 2002, most of us will be very happy to get into the second round and ecstatic to reach the Sweet 16.

Or rebound well enough.
If we get the right seed I could see Sweet 16. If we're an 8 or 9, we won't win more than one game.

Guard play is not Elite 8. Hope I'm wrong. A lot depends on the draw.
I don't think our guard play is bad, and is certainly good enough to win, but not Elite 8 good.

Georgia has some explosive but streaky scorers and their center is a load around the rim but to make it past the round of 64 they need an SEC tourney run that results in a 7 seed.
Anything is possible but they don't seem a likely candidate to upset a #1 seed in the second round this year.

Right now we are ranked #9 in the SEC standings. Bit of a stretch for us to make the Final 8 in the Tourney.
