No skin off my back. I do not contribute in any way and made the much more financially responsible decision of just putting more of my disposable income into my 401K instead.

USC was a prime motivator in nuking the PAC-12. Which, while it wasn't doing fantastic, was mildly competitive and viable. Now they are nothing special in a Big 10 where almost everyone is outspending them.

Take the expansion teams of the SEC. Arkansas knew the SWC was about to go under the and Big 8 wouldn't pick them. South Carolina was an indie and saw the writing on the wall. Then Mizzou and A&M saw the writing on the wall (in giant letters) that the Big 12 was floundering and jumped. A few years later Oklahoma and Texas realized that ruling a lousy conference was worse than being part of a good one.

All of those schools, despite suffering some short term damage (Arkansas and USCe left behind some really good rivalries) knew they would do better.

USC is just dangling in the breeze now.

OP is making the mistake of referring to South Carolina as USC.

USC is always Southern Cal to the normal populous outside here.

Even a room temperature IQ individual can figure out which one is being discussed with context

That doesn’t make it correct.

And apologize to Arksulli for saying that about him.

Ray tanners tenure has to go down as one of if not the worst mismanagements of an athletic department in recent memory. Went from championship level baseball and SEC contenders in football to dumpster juice in all three men’s sports. It all starts with South Carolina nepotism/good old boy system shite whatever you wanna call it. Sucks.

Hey so it actually was correct. SEC Rant mainboard topics are related to SEC only. Their is only one USC in the SEC thus it was a correct usage of USC.

No apologies needed

Arksulli is a nice poster.

If you were nicer, you wouldn’t be 15-73 in those sports since 2025.
