Nation leader in homeruns plays at UCLA and I saw he played at Texas last year. Did they steal him? Not enough money?

Why not. UCLA is an amazing campus, and Texas is surrounded by the homeless and filth in downtown Austin

Northeastern scored more runs than LSU did.

Gasparino is from Los Angeles. I’m guessing he wanted to go home

First off the HR stat can be misleading. Disch Faulk field is a pitcher pack and sucks up hit balls that might fly out of drier air parks. Part of why Texas pitching has only 1 home run against them and that was in Houston. I don't recall, but I'm sure he wanted more money andgo back home.

Meanwhile that knife cuts both ways. Texas picked up Carson Tinney (Jr.), an All American at Notre Dame last year who has played very well defensively, but needs to pick it up some with the bat.

Eh?, It's the nature of NIL and the transfer portal.

He's a career .250 hitter. He had insane homer streak at one point last season also, then he will have an 0-45 with 34 strikeouts streak. He disappeared when it mattered most last year, nobody fought to keep him around.

I'm glad he's doing well though.

UCLA has a better atmosphere for kids that are patriotic

The kid probably just wanted to get away from the left-wing liberal cult in Austin

In comparison, UCLA is probably more conservative and the kid doesn’t have to worry about people not knowing what gender they are

Speaking of, how is Ashton Larson playing? I always liked that kid, wish he would've stayed.

I liked him also, but hard to see a clear role for him on this LSU team. He wasn't going to start over Curiel, Brown or Stanfield.

No doubt.

Wish he could've played second or third

What's wrong with the atmosphere in College Station that it produces so much losing and embarrassment, year after year after year. The "liberal cult in Austin" shite stomps Aggies on a regular basis. You are the lowest of the low. Somehow below gays.

dominated by big bro Texas, and jealous of Austin, #1 city people have been moving to for a couple of decades!!

(but please continue to trash Austin, residents are tired of everyone and every tech company wanting to move there)

I would've liked for him to stay because he's got top 10 draft pick potential, but so far, it's been just that. This year follows the same pattern of insanely hot start, playing at AA level. Hope he can avoid slowly fading into a complete non-factor at the plate in the back half of the year.

With a change of scenery, being at home vs. B1G pitchers, maybe he fulfills his potential this year. I hope so, because he was a good albeit very frustrating player for us, and he hates A&M.
