Will HS Recruits take the AI bait?

This is crazy. Schools will need AI sniffing software to make sure film is legit. Most of the 3/4/5 stars are seen by the recruiting industry at camps and events so its hard to fake that.
And if a school signed someone and school later finds some fake film, and if player isn’t doing well they could sue player to get money back.
But still, just the fact AI has advanced so far is scary stuff.

We can always go back and watch the GOAT highlight reels of Tavon Austin and Noel Devine

Apparently, AI DB's don't like to hit.

If you stop the clips, in 3 of them there are players where the numbers are backwards on their jerseys. Pretty soon, the AI will be good enough that it will be nearly impossible to discern.

There need to be more AI highlight reels with dinosaurs on the field. A t-rex at defensive end just swallowing up the quarterback. Maybe put a couple of velociraptors at the cornerback slots. That will shut a passing attack down. Throw in some grizzly bears rampaging through the stands. Make it interesting at least.

This is great. Look at the yard markers, had no idea there was an 11 yard line and 0 yard line in some of these ??

Speeding up the video has been happening for years. The best way to sniff it out is look at the referees. If the referees are booking it and moving way too fast, it's because the video is sped up.

What’s scary is AI generated “evidence” headed to a criminal trial near you.

Run at minute mark 1:00... Dude looks like he runs a 3.0 second flat 40 Yard Dash.

IMO you can easily see that there is some way off with these videos.

Man even Orwell would be impressed with this technology in the hands of an authoritarian government

It’s a problem. College scouts look at thousands of clips. They don’t have time to study each one and see it it’s AI or not

I look forward to the day, coming soon, when humans will be replaced in sports, especially football. Robutts will be facing other robutts and the coaches who hire the best programmers to give the robutts instructions will win the game.

* There are only ten players on defense, and only eight players on offense, in the opening clip.
* In the second clip, ten players on defense, nine on offense.
* In the third clip, the DB closest seems to be lined up on the 50 when the line of scrimmage appears 46/47 and one of the blocking linemen on the left vanishes shortly after the snap.
* In the fourth clip, the 12th offensive player appears shortly after the snap, and there don't seem to be more than nine defensive players at any point.
* In the fifth clip, only nine on defense, and the eleventh offensive player magically appears towards the end of the play.
* In the sixth clip, a defensive player is actually lined up on offense in the backfield!
I'd hope a scout/coach might notice some details like this.
