Rick Pitino is more deserving than anyone on that list - especially more than the bald butt face at UConnvict

It's craziness, but I've come to accept it. Hell, it took Donovan until 2011 to even get the SEC Coach of the Year. 15 years of building a program to a 2X national champion, and nothing.

I would think Steele is the frontrunner right now.

This board will be busy tonight if LSU wins. If they lose then they will all pretend they don’t care about basketball.

LSU has lost 5 in a row, and Ole Miss has lost 9 in a row. Someone is breaking their losing streak.

LSU doesn't have a pulse. If Ole Miss can't win this game, they can't beat anybody

If we want to hold on to that 4 seed we can't suffer a bad loss to State at home

Sure would be nice to beat Arkansas tonight and punch our ticket, but I don't think we can beat them in Fayetteville.

Not a chance unless something drastically changes

Ala leads the MSU series 86-15 at home. -15.5 is too much.

Florida to chomp to another 19+ point road win, fifth in a row, not done at the Power Conference level since who-knows-when. College of Charleston won seven straight conference road games by 20+ (!) in 1997, but that was the TAAC and not a power conference. One seed is not impossible, but
DUKE
Arizona
UCONN
Michigan all appear to be locks. Two seed likely for our 2026 champs.

2006, I get because Florida had six losses in conference play. I suppose Florida’s expectations in 2007 were sky high after winning a natty, then returning all five starters (Florida went 13-3). I guess when you overachieve and win a natty, it’s almost impossible to win COY because the expectations are so high.
Golden should win SEC COY, but Mizzou’s coach might

Leave off Bill Self, or include Golden, and let’s talk.

This will be one of those tough road games. Not gonna cruise to an easy win tonight.
We're due for a struggle game.

Refs are letting them play. Hopefully they stay consistent.

What exactly distinguishes Self this year. Kansas is good but almost the same resume as Alabama or Tennessee or Arkansas to just name a couple.
