I think you mean that the officials are in Bama's pocket.

The answer to that is because the SEC Headquarter's are in Birmingham and Birmingham is in Alabama and Birmingham is in Tide territory and Bear Bryant coached games at Legion Field, which is in Birmingham.

Nick Saban coached at Bryant Denny Stadium which is only 55.1 miles via I-20 W/I-59 S and only takes 58 minutes to traverse one way or the other.

This enables referees to literally walk from Birmingham to Tuscaloosa if they needed to, that is how close it is. It's crazy.

Refs, Mark Emmert, Mike Slive, media etc.

Did you know that bama was the only school to not report scholarship numbers during the Saban era and even sued to keep the information secret?

for reference, in 2011, Saban explicitly stated, "Nobody really knows how many guys we had on scholarship last year, but it wasn't 85. I can tell you that"

Life isn't fair. Is it fair that Alabama has had to, over the many decades, literally almost had to drag the rest of the SEC teams along with them so they wouldn't be forgotten in the dustbin of history?

No. But Alabama did it because they needed teams to play in the conference. Would it be fair for Alabama to not get extra consideration and be shown a proper amount of discrete favoritism after all they have done for not just the SEC, but college football?

No, that wouldn't be fair. Awarding excellence is par for the course in the real world. Does Michigan and Ohio State get the breaks over Illinois and Northwestern? Of course. They've earned it, just like Alabama has earned it.

Do big spenders get special and luxury treatment at casinos? Yes, they do, they've earned it and they are more important than other people.

One can't legislate equality and Alabama can't be compared to other teams.

The point of the post and clearly not one retard gump denying it is bama cheats.

Just a daily reminder that bama cheats and are only successful b/c they cheat at everything and more than anyone.

For what? For college athletics!!!

The account of cognitive dissonance required to believe both "Alabama doesn't have the money to compete with the big boys in college football in the world of NIL" and "Alabama only wins because they buy off the refs in every sport" at the same time is impressive. Sometimes it feels like every non-Bama poster on this board must be a woman.

A little research into how and why the SEC office is Birmingham.
A LSU Head Coach who became the commissioner of the SEC moved the whole thing to Birmingham.
History lesson for the day.

That is why Bama doesn't have the NIL money others schools do. Such a large percentage of their budget goes to pay off officials and the SEC office
