Are the SEC refs protecting UF bball?

If so I can definitely understand why UK fans are outraged.
Gotta be agonizing have 80 years of privilege stripped from you.

They’re not protecting UF. Kentucky just isn’t getting all of the BS calls that they’re used to.
Having said that, I expect the refs to help Kentucky in Rupp by a lot…

There were questionable calls just like every game. At one point, there was a disparity of 7 fouls, which is a lot.

Moreno should have fouled out with 10 minutes left and as he mugged multiple guys on successive plays. That would have turned the game into an absolute route. Multiple travel calls missed on Kentucky as well.
I can bitch about the refs too.

Let a team win at home against you for the first time in 8 years and these are the kind of threads it gets you folks.

Florida and Kentucky, the ref-blaming co-champions. Loser's mentality. Kentucky lost; if you want to win, make more layups and do not leave Klaver wide open. Both teams are actually undefeated, but the refs stole six games from Florida and eight games from Kentucky.
I was on a Kentucky fan site, and eight of the top ten threads were about the refs. Kentucky lost; it is what it is. Florida lost to Auburn; it is what it is. I'm not sure that I can come up with an example as to where losing a game was completely attributed to bad calls. Florida had BS calls go their way, and against them; Kentucky had BS calls go their way, and against them.
I know it's tough to cope with your favorite team losing, but surely, we're all adults and we can get over it, right? At the end of the day, we're just fans of an event that we have no impact on.
LSU fans do not count, because this is basketball, but they whine incessantly in football.

Who are you a fan of again?
You like to tell others what they should think. You tell others that they have no impact on the game.
Why cheer for sports at all?
Why are you even on a sports board if you believe that? Just weird.

I could not care less about what others think, but incessantly blaming the refs after every loss is unbecoming at best. I also know that for many on here, their entire self-worth is tied to the success of their favorite team (and whether another poster is superior or inferior is strictly based on said poster's rooting interest), which is weird. I am not calling out any posters in particular.
Furthermore, I do not hurl childish insults or call names, but to each their own, I suppose (not saying you, but you get my point). There is nothing that I have posted, that I would avoid saying to anyone in person.
For college, I am a fairly neutral fan in general. I will usually pull for the underdog, or a team who has yet to win a title. But I do not really hate specific teams, but I like to see teams like LSU (with Lane) or Bama (because they had an NBA player) fail spectacularly.
For pro sports, I am mostly Cincinnati area sports, but I like Aaron Judge. I grew up in California/Hawaii, but I do not care for West Coast teams.

They aren't calling much of anything. Letting play go for the most part. That plays to UF's advantage.

Bad officiating has made college basketball hard to watch. It usually takes one egregious call for me to change the channel and just check the score periodically. I get too pissed off and end up watching a WWII documentary on youtube.

The continued whining on social media is pretty wild. Some claiming moral victory in a game where the score was closer than the game. Lucky it was even in single digits.

Everybody agrees that UK is tough to beat, especially in Lexington. Why? They usually have a good team, a large, loud fan base and they also get 80% of the 50/50 calls when playing at home.
