Good Luck.

Dirty little secret is that there are plenty of teams that like the current landscape.

Salary cap is needed. There is no saving College Football because it's dead.

The NCAA can't be a governing organization without an anti-trust exemption. Without a governing organization, college sports will continue to be the wild west.

Once they have an anti-trust exemption, the NCAA will be able to enforce rules again. Once the NCAA can enforce rules again, fans will bitch about NCAA rules again.

American people: please arrest the pedophile swamp for which we have overwhelming evidence for prosecution!

Congress: best we can do is 6year QBs and NIL reform.
We
SEC fans: let him cook!

This.

No need to even discuss transfer and NIL restrictions (which are desperately needed) without this happening first.

Our court system has to be massively backlogged because everytime Trump drops a deuce or some college athlete is denied ANYTHING he wants, there's a lawsuit filed. Has gotten really old. Now I don't blame Ole Miss, or Alabama for that matter, trying to use the courts...but it needs to end nationwide.

Just make the transfer rules what they used to be. There was nothing wrong with it.

Sit out a year and the coach gets discretion over where you go.

there are 2 ways to do this

Legislation that gives the NCAA powers outside anti-trust laws or collective bargaining.

Conveniently, the "fair market value" of an NIL contract at UTrans will always be greater than at an upstart program.

GTFO with this communist central planning garbage.

Lost me at pillar one, allowing conferences to govern themselves is how we got here. The teams that win are the same ones that drive viewership and create the playoff money. What’s the sec incentive to punish a cash cow like Tex bama uga if the big isn’t going to punish osu or Michigan? Why would they hurt themselves financially especially considering this is all about money.

Some are probably because all this is so "well duh".

Endless posts have been here saying the same basic things without a few of the dumber points.

None of the fine details matter unless there's some kind of player representative collected bargaining paving way for anti-trust exemptions.

That's the hard part.
