They need to put the main TV camera on the other side of the arena. I may or may not draft a strongly worded email. The old money seats are half empty and everybody's sitting on their arse. This is what you see on TV.
Meanwhile the opposite side is packed and all the students are standing. There's no rule that you have to have the camera facing the team benches. Auburn has their main camera at the bench's back and you see the student section on TV.
It's just basketball, but that shite is still embarrassing.

Florida had the same thing. They reversed the cameras a couple of years ago

Same thing at Ole MIss. When we do have a good team and the students are into things, you can't tell because of the camera location. All the old farts are sitting down (if they are even there) and sitting on their hands wanting everybody else to sit down in front of them. So annoying.

The TV angle has faced the benches as long as I can remember. But there's no rule that it has to.

It's awful. That gray tinted BS has got to go. I don't like the bulldog dominating the entire court. Too busy.
Also, the lighting and acoustics remind me of an old high school gym.
It needs to be brighter and somehow make it sound like a crowd instead of five people yelling in a canyon.
The crowd is there, but it doesn't sound like it.

I made the trip over to Athens in January to watch Auburn play, and I will say the court was far less offensive in person. It’s just one of those things that gets magnified by TV. Looks way worse on television than in person.

I dont mind the gawdy XL logos at mid court.
It's the extra gray tinting or whatever it may be that gets on my nerves. Teams like Oregon and TCU also do it.
