It’s cold as shite. I look bad too when it’s cold. That cold arse wind makes folks look 10 years older

And he was in the shade. Might be reading into things a smidge too much

These last few years have aged us all.

I was thinking the same thing. He looked rough.

Nope. Pressure is killing him.

Most interesting thing in the interview is when he is talking about the defensive line. He said that they now have people that care. He wasn’t as direct as Ha Ha was.

The job IS a pressure cooker but I'm 100 per cent sure he already knew that coming into the job and if not, I guarantee you CNS told him it was and to be prepared for it. Then again, the man is making, what, $12 million a year? You don't get paid that kind of money with a job NOT having a lot of pressure.
I'm sure he knows he's on the coaching hot seat this year. That alone will age a man.

Kalen has banked 20 million so far with another 10-11 up for 2026. If things go wrong Bama still owes him 90% of the other 44 million.
Hoping he and Bama have a good year in 26.

That shite is overrated. They’re coaching football, not trying to save lives.
College coaches get fired they just retire to the beach with much more money than the average person will ever have. If a high school coach gets fired he has to figure out how the hell he’s going to make ends meet.
I would rather get ripped mercilessly for being a bad football coach by Finebaum and his congregation until the end of time while I am sipping beverages on a tropical island than have my head under water financially with a family to support.
There’s pressure… and then there’s real pressure.

Thank you! He's being compensated for having to deal with the pressure of the job. Matter of fact, there are people in "real world" jobs who deal with exponentially more pressure than he does and aren't paid a fraction of what he makes.
I also think pressure from the fans can be a good thing because it keeps any coach from getting complacent and just drawing a paycheck.

You make that kind of money the pressure and expectations are part of the job.

Looks good to me. It is like 20 degrees out, though.

There's pressure in the sense that while he probably paid cash for his house/car(s), his wife/family have the luxurious lifestyle they're no doubt accustomed to including the fabulous vacations that none of us on this board could ever afford, and other expenses that again, probably none of us could afford.
Very few HS coaches have thousands of people literally screaming for your head if you have an off season and in addition, you live in a fishbowl nationwide.Very, very few HS coaches are recognized outside their home town. CKD farts in public and it's all over national media. No one cares if a HS coach does that.
Yeah, he makes a lot of money but personally, I would HATE constantly being scrutinized in public for everything I ever said, did, ate, etc. It would get old quick. At least IMO.
