What an unbelievable portal haul, feeling like 2019 again

I think so, definitely. They are in Baton Rouge, so that is a plus right off the bat. And then the amazing haul at recruiting from the Portal King this year, which is the best ever recruiting class in the history of the universe.
With Kiffin's offensive chops and being in Baton Rouge, which is where LSU is located, they could easily have not only the first 3,000 yard+ single season college running backs but, multiple ones.
It's almost a given, at this point, that they will have the first ever, and then probably 2 or 3 more in this upcoming season, 3,000 yard+ receivers.
Have we talked about tight ends that can also gain 3,000 or more yards in one season? If not, let's open up that discussion because it may very well be happening.
Taking all of this into account, which is likely to happen because of Kiffin and Baton Rouge, let's talk about the #'s for the QB.
Easily a QB, under Kiffin's tutelage and because of the culture of Baton Rouge and the good food, could have 12,000 single season passing yards or even more.
It's going to be like nothing anyone has ever seen, ever, like ever, ever.

Can't wait to read Bama board threads about "let's go get Lane" during your next coaching search only to realize that no, you can't because LSU is already in the process of leaving that program in the dust.
Especially now that Saban can't hoard 5 stars on the bench anymore. God it's gonna hit like Crack.

It's honestly looking like Kiffin may have the best coaching season a coach has ever had in college football.
How in the hell could anyone lure Kiffin away from LSU if say, they beat every opponent by 50 points or more? It would be impossible.
No joking, I think LSU may set records in 2026 that have never even been dreamed of before. It's going to be such an absolute machine down there that I could seriously see Kiffin only playing the 1st string players in like the first 5 mintutes of every 1st quarter of each game and then let them rest.
As this progresses, the 2nd and 3rd string players at LSU will evolve into better players than any other starters on any team in the nation.
That is how Kiffin prepares for the future. He is a visionary. Everyone is super jealous of LSU right now, don't let anyone fool you.

LSU alter
Once you realize he's an LSU alter it makes sense, why he pumps up LSU so much and constantly tries to bring Florida down (saying stupid stuff like let's leave for the SEC, let's shut the football program down, let's fire our coach midseason, oh no why did we fire him midseason, let's get a new coach, oh no our new coach sucks, etc.).
He doesn't even try to hide it.

Slow down, Mr. Know It All.
If Cignetti can have Indiana, of all teams, in the playoffs during his very first season and then take them all the way the second, why in the hell couldn't Kiffin do that for LSU?
Who is Cignetti? He was a nobody. Kiffin, on the other hand, is one of the very best coaches in all of college football with years of experience at the highest levels, even the NFL.
Honestly, you don't even seem like a real LSU fan.

Meh, I always take the under.

So Cignetti can take Indiana from 3-9, before his arrival, in 2023 to 11-2 in 2024 and into the playoffs but, Kiffin can't do the same for LSU?
You don't have much faith in LSU or Kiffin, I see. And Kiffin has the best recruiting class ever in the whole history of college football yet, you still don't have trust in him?
Really? I guess you are one of those NegaTigers.

This checks out.
I just wasn't paying real close attention. I mean, I noticed but self-deprecation is not uncommon here. Although in this case the humor is completely absent.

Give the gumps a break 4 loss seasons are becoming their new norm. They are a still adjusting to blowout losses while here at LSU things are looking up again finally.

It took me a while to figure out whose alter he is, but it's become so obvious lately. He's an LSU alter.

Seriously, 8-4 or 9-3 in first year if you look at schedule with your brain and not your heart.

Probably not yet. This is a rebuild no matter how you put it.

LSU definitely has enough on paper to win it all.

In week 1, almost everyone is a contender. How about we let LSU's new players play some games for their new coaches first.
