Big game in Rupp South (UK has won 5/6) in Smoothie king food lion city arena.
In all seriousness, need a better start to a game. Being down 10 in the first 5 minutes is ridiculous.

I'll check the score - just can't sit through The Mark Pope Experience. I'd expect the Vols to cover the six and a half. Quaintance is out.

I think he will play in maybe one out of 5 games the rest of the year.

Which State team shows up today?
The first 12 minutes of excellence?
OR
The last 28 minutes of total futility?
The last two games of Jekyll and Hyde have been disappointing at best and downright embarrassing at worst.
Tonight we will see what happens.

Was he brought back too soon?
I know when he was in the portal, I lost interest when I heard he might not be available until late in the season

Who knows ? All we ever got out of The Infinite Fountain of bullshite was how great he was coming along. Right up until it wasn't so great.
I'm not a basketball guy anyways. I'm really not a basketball guy with the real life Ted Lasso in Lexington.

Don't think so. He practiced for a month before playing in a game. But, its hard to tell. I hope he can play some soon. We could sure use him.

Even the struggling teams start out at a minimum ~12 pt favorites against us. Auburn will win by 20+.

Sounds like Thomas is still out for LSU, how the heck are we favored?

Early tip: Kentucky at Tennessee preview and prediction.

Has Kentucky finally found some answers, or did the Wildcats merely capitalize on a soft part of the schedule?
We’ll know more today when the Wildcats (11-6, 2-2 SEC) visit No. 24 Tennessee (12-5, 2-2 SEC). Tip-off is set for 12 pm, ET (ESPN). Oddsmakers have installed Tennessee as a 5.5-point home favorite.
Kentucky has won 2 in a row — at LSU and against Mississippi State, teams that are a combined 2-6 in the SEC. The Wildcats needed those after dropping their first 2 SEC games to Missouri and Alabama.
Big Blue Nation is growing impatient with Mark Pope’s group, which opened the season at No. 9 in the AP poll but hasn’t been ranked since Week 5.
Tennessee is coming off a dramatic double-overtime thriller against Texas A&M. The Vols are 10-0 at home but just 4-6 ATS as a home favorite.
We’ll preview the SEC matchup and offer our best pick.

I really don't see us beating Tennessee today, but we seem to play well down there lately. We'll see...

I took Kentucky earlier at 5.5. You guys suck but we may suck worse.

I doubt it, but it’s an enjoyable thing to see.

We also have BuckyBall rolling into Austin today for the Cotton Holdings Lone Star Showdown with Texas. Horns are a 5.5 point favorite after knocking off #13 Bama and #10 Vandy in consecutive games.
In another rivalry game Ole Miss, who is on a 2 game win streak, heads South to Starkville to take on Mississippi State at the Hump. The Bulldogs are a 2.5 point favorite, but they have had problems holding leads in their last 2 games after getting out to hot starts.
