I like the addition at short. Hope everybody is healthy and stays that way for the most part.

Underwhelmed by the Weiss hire, but new they wouldn't make a splash. That's just not who they are.

Tucker signing with L.A. is nuts. Their luxury tax will be more than the Braves payroll. Don't see how anyone can compete with them in a series in Oct.

Just 25 days until first work outs 2/10/26.

Not happy with Weiss hire but do believe we are a SP away from being WS contenders.

Tucker hit .266 with 22 HRS and got $60 mil. INSANE.

This will be the last year of baseball for a while.

Baseball is broken. Salary Cap is only thing that can save it

Isn’t it about time for a lockout or another strike to spare the world from MLB?

It’s not as much fun when the Dodgers are that much better than everyone else.

Would imagine Braves payroll spending will be basically zero at this time, since they have no TV deal.

Possible they may need to trim payroll if MLB ends up being their TV partner this year. Most teams in this situation have had to do it.

I don't follow baseball very closely. But I heard the reason why there was a bidding war over Tucker, is because the next two years have terrible free agent hitters. It's a perfect storm situation, that's allowed him to demand to be way overpaid.

They will almost be forced to trade Acuna after this season, assuming he has a great year. That will be the only way to recoup decent value.

Agree with the formula but not the timeline. 40 years ago Braves were dogshit. The turnaround in 1991 season was senior year in high school and began the string of great regular season play and mediocre playoff appearances.

I was in 2nd grade and lived in Atlanta. One of my best memories was my dad pulling me out of school, dressing me up in my Braves Little League uniform, and taking me to game 5 of the Cinderella series. We got tickets at face value 1 hour before the game ($90 total) from a Braves employee.
