So assuming Trinidad get his waiver, we have the heisman favorite at qb (maybe co-favorite with Arch), and backed up by a redshirt former 5 star, while Lane goes and gets an injured, overrated, and more expensive starting qb, backed up by a reshirt former 5 star.

I would say advantage Ole Miss. Now, if Trinidad doesn't get the waiver, we'll see how Deuce compares to Leavitt but LSU's backup situation would definitely be better.

Damn LSU really would rather stock up on QBs than allow Tennessee or Miami to have any

Have to respect that

They're just leasing them for 2026. They'll get repoed and will be somewhere new in 2027...

Did you see what Leavitt did against Miss State? Guy had the best receiver in the country going against the worst defense in the SEC and about shite himself. Deuce is inexperienced, but his ceiling is way higher than Leavitt. Especially considering Leavitt's strength is his mobility and he's coming off a bad foot injury.

Ole Miss probably spent 1/10th as much at the QB position in 2025 as LSU has for 2026. Let's see if they are as successful.

This can’t be possible. I’ve been told many many times lane is a failure a crook and a fraud. There have been so many threads they can’t all be wrong. Can they?
