LSU is not in the same room as Indiana. They sure don't compare to 1995 Nebraska or 2001 Miami. They aren't even in the same zip code.

However, this IU teams isn't better than 2019 LSU, 2020 bama or even 2010 burn.... all of which were undefeated and national champs.
This IU team isn't even better than the 2011 teams of LSU and bama.

LSU was an actual college program representative of the state of Louisiana and the SEC. Roster was mostly Louisiana boys.

I thought about this, and honestly don’t think so. That LSU team was built different on both sides of the ball. This IU team is exceptional and while they may be close with results. I don’t think they are ad talented overall.

Dang.
The thing with Indiana is that they are a complete team with fantastic defense and a great offense. 2019 LSU didn’t have much of a defense. Indiana would score at will on LSU, but the reverse probably isn’t true.
Do I think that LSU had the best college football season ever in 2019? I do. Are they the best team ever? I don’t know. Would they beat 2025 Indiana? Give them 10 cracks at it and they probably win three or four.
