Due to the opposing QB. Ty Simpson has played well but he’s not a true dual threat. Expecting the defense to keep us in it.

Anyone have a list of players from last season who transferred out? Transferred in? Likely a google or chat gpt search away though wanted to let one of you basketball wizards take a crack at it
What are the chances he comes back next year? Missed a lot of ball this season, possibly some draft capital. Also not the season you want to go out on. Thoughts?

No to nicky

B**** move to hire someone who already left you and then spent the majority of his career beating you, not to mention he retired when the NIL era started.
It’s similar to taking back an ex who is past her prime but still needs attention

Get a young coach, innovative, hungry for dubs. Let the old timers enjoy their retirement
Ole miss win in 24’ was a lot of fun
Kelvin Shepard

I know I know “he’s got limited experience, never been a head coach, yada yada”

Guy is an over achiever. Could you imagine how hard our guys would play for him? No more soft bs. I bet he’d be a great recruiter as well.

Deep pockets

Didn’t know the boys in BR had the pockets to pull this off, they said our boosters didn’t have the coffers. Incredible. Love the commitment to excellence.
Clearly the O is holding this team back.

We haven’t seen any improvement on that side of the ball (SELA doesn’t count). The final scoring drive against OM leaves room for some optimism, though as of right now we are not playoff caliber.

Was wondering if anyone can think of a season where an LSU team went from garbage on offense to efficient in the same season? Looking for a reason to hold onto hope.
Heart goes out to Naz and the Reid family

You heard it here first.

Defense = elite

Offense will only get better.

If we stay healthy it’s a no doubter
It would never happen but with Diego Pavia getting 9 years of eligibility you never know
Weed is basically legal now and shouldn’t have been such a big deal then (not endorsing ganja but who cares what ppl do to relax); guy may have glaucoma probably was self medicating

Honey Badger Hypothetical

This is most likely impossible and more of a thought experiment but theoretically could TM7 get an extra year of college eligibility given he was dismissed for the 2012 season? BK did say Tyrann Mathieu will suit up against Clemson
Clemson is returning a lot sure, but they were in all honesty mid last year. If these transfer guys on LSU live up to the hype we should dominate. I think our O-line should be fine and benefits from a more experienced Nuss and better playing calling (fingers crossed)

LSU wins 30-17, late TD by Clemson in the 4th to make it respectable
11-1

Loss at Oklahoma after we’ve already clenched a playoff birth to ruin an otherwise perfect championship season behind Nuss (Heisman winner) and the rebirth of a nasty Tiger defense

Clemson is overrated, the team last year wasn’t great and I don’t think they make a huge step forward despite returning a bunch

Lagway and Sellers can’t hold up on the road at LSU

aTm will suck, their QB won’t sneak up on us this season

Bama behind Ty Simpson is a disappointment and the start of the end of Debours, 8-4 season incoming

Reliford, Payton, Pyburn

Out of these 3 who do you think starts this season? Or is there another edge out there who takes the job?

Excited to see the D-line this season
Do they still get rings?

For the players who left, why not wait until after the playoffs? What benefit is there to leaving early?
