The diddy-esque funeral. I don’t keep up with much else she does though

Except for the fact that it wasn’t a funeral…

Threw in every victimhood buzzword you could think of

Playing victim is not a Cajun mindset, but BR isn’t very Cajun so I wouldn’t expect most here to understand that

quote:

Just stop. Your political opponents are not your enemy. That’s not how this country works. The damage our two parties system has caused is insane, how it pits people against each other at their own detriment.

The party that wants to convert my children, illegally import immigrants, decide how much wealth I can pass to my kids, give out handouts while we work extra hours to stay ahead of the free handouts, get us fired for having a different opinion, DEI favors, tries to make us out to be terrible people and calls us Christian Nationalist… hates everything that I stand for and work for… yeah, definitely not my enemy…
Been saying this. Most of us do not have enough intel for what is going on across the globe.

I can see and feel the impacts of the enemy on the left here at home.

Republicans stay distracted…
Ad hominem… like discrediting a widow for wearing “a sequin pantsuit”?

I touched grass. I coached two tee-ball games today and about to go for a boat ride with my awesome kids and beautiful wife, but I appreciate your concern. I’m rarely on here.

You are correct. Maybe I am more invested as I have financially contributed to TPUSA. I see the results with my own two eyes. I also have young kids so TPUSAs continued success is important to me. I also have nieces and nephews in college that have leaned on TPUSA with their new chapter startups.

I don’t know of an organization that is doing more for our youth in fighting the culture war than TPUSA.

For me, the fight is local. I provide no value in arguing about Iran, and it does nothing for me. Yes TPUSA means more to me…

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Those feelings…

I don’t know what to tell you

So your issue is capacity. Got it. It was off putting to you, and you can’t articulate your own opinion.

It was a memorial “In memory of”. Not a funeral service. His body was not in the building.

Millions of followers needed closure and wanted to hear the vision and path forward.

She is the happiest widow I’ve ever seen. If you can’t understand why people see her behavior as off putting, I don’t know what to tell you,

I’ve had the exact opposite impression and I’m as conservative as they come.

I don’t know anything about your political views, but if you’re conservative, I don’t understand why you’d take exception to anything she has done or is doing.

Erika and TPUSA have done nothing to hinder the conservative movement. They have done the opposite, especially with the culture war.

I think some of us are fighting the wrong fight.

You need to be worried about the blue hair people and the ones that say “they’ll convert your children”, and maybe a little less about Erika.
Good graphic

I try not to opine on foreign policy. Most of us do not have enough intel anyway.

The only war I care about since 2020 is right here at home and we can’t stay focused enough on the right to successfully fight it.

social media, pyrotechnics, a sequin pantsuit and bragging about how much money my husband’s memorial raked in.

Lame talking points, especially the pyrotechnics comment.

If you listened you would have learned that the pyrotechnics were because Charlie desired that one day he’d create the largest TPUSA conference / political rally / and witness to Christ all rolled up into one event.

The memorial delivered in that regard and the pyrotechnics were a part of it because CHARLIE USED THE EXACT SAME PYROTECHNICS at his conferences.

The attacks on Erica Kirk are one of the most bizarre and distasteful things I’ve seen in politics.

Indeed.

I was a big TPUSA & CK follower prior to his death.

After his death I leaned in and increased support because they are fighting the war I actually care about… the culture war.

I also get excited to hear about TPUSA success (contributions, shirt sales, followers, etc.) post CK.

I want the left to know that they didn’t kill the movement, but made it bigger.

Locally, our high schools and colleges started chapters because our youth had a fire lit under them. I have kids, and this matters to me.

I would hope that my loved ones would build on my life work / passion and be excited for those victories.

I don’t opine much on foreign policy because I don’t have real intel. Locally, I can 100% see the enemy and see the impacts of the culture war.

TPUSA success is worth celebrating… for us and for Charlie.

LSU - Don Lemon, David Duke, James Carville. WTF do you cajuns put in the water down there anyway?

None of these are Cajun and Baton Rouge is barely Cajun.

I never know for sure, but always assume people are joking when they say things like this.

I’ve gone through a period in a long relationship with no kids.

I lived the single life for a while in my later 20s early 30s traveling the world with friends and by myself. It was fun but incomplete.

Now I am married with a 3 and 5 year-old and it is the absolute best time of my life.

You have me confused for someone else, or misinterpreted what I said.

I’m a huge Cajun supporter and Tiger supporter. Born and raised following both like most from the area.

It’s not a rivalry no matter how loud a vocal minority want it to be.

Not a rivalry at all. Call it a frat boy rivalry or maybe even a faculty rivalry at best.

Most students and people in Acadiana love LSU.

Any sane person knows that UL will never compete with LSU in football. The resources and boosters aren’t comparable.

No sir. Ask their student body. They absolutely hate LSU and have no reason too.

Exhausting lies. We can keep telling you repeatedly that most UL students like LSU but because you met 1 UL student or frat boy that talked some smack, you think all UL students and Lafayette area folk hate LSU.

You can easily be proven wrong with a simple trip to any Acadiana outlet, restaurant, concert, Mardi Gras, etc..

Maybe you’ll find it interesting that you can still find plenty official USL merchandise in campus stores and Academy, etc…

Calling UL “USL” isn’t the jab you think it is. A lot of Cajuns still prefer it anyway.

Yeah... especially when you realize that most Cajun fans are also LSU fans, but don’t let me stop y’all from getting worked up over a fake rivalry

So, the BR area is "Arkansas?" Or New Orleans?

BR is on the edge of Acadiana, although BR is more NOLA than Acadiana these days it seems.

Look north of Acadiana to understand the Arkansas reference… no hot boudin and cold couche-couche up there
