Hmmm. Do Ole miss players feel like they were treated dirty?

They’ll get one in Winston Watkins. Not sure of any others though.

They played last night. Weak attempt here. Give it a few days. He won’t get twenty, but probably 4-5

No. Lane is proving a point. He was aggressively accused of tampering. He’ll build a winner at LSU with 0 Ole Miss transfers.

To your point, Campbell takes 33 players from Iowa State and I haven’t heard 1 person in the media blast him for tampering.

Would you play for a guy who quit on you?

Why follow a quitter? He quit them… period.

Winners don’t follow self-absorbed quitters.

Well with all the negative publicity I wish he would have not let any coaches go back to help Ole Miss. It is hard to understand why the AD would let some coaches coach for playoffs but now the man who brought them to that point. LSU was letting Lane continue to coach Ole Miss but the AD said no for Lane but the others can coach. Like this would have made any difference for
recruiting their players. I am glad because it gave him a jump start in evaluations and portal time. So no sympathy for Ole Miss here.

It's interesting how Kiffin gets blasted for "quitting" but not Chesney or Sumrall.

Almost like there's some agenda here...

When will y’all stop trotting this talking point out? You pulled position coaches from the playoff because the calendar didn’t work out. What makes you think LSU was gonna be fine with just letting Lane hang out in Oxford for the playoff when yall couldn’t even let a wide receivers coach work with us?

Good god, we could use a Virtual Quality Control Agent around here. Ole Miss' season justed ended 14 hours ago. Were their players supposed to opt out of the damn playoffs?

You expect them to leave the team during the playoffs?

There’s additional suitors involved with Winnie actually. He’s a talented freshman and I wish we’d have him in the slot again next season.

So we were supposed to let all coaches go? Be thankful that LSU let the most important ones go to help. I am still pissed that any of them went back to coach. Your AD could have had all of them if he did not let his pride get in the way.

There’s no way you don’t see how these statements contradict one another. LSU cannot simultaneously be willing to allow the head coach and full staff to coach potentially all the way through to a national title but also have a desperate NEED to claw back some position coaches for recruiting because the portal opened on 1/2.

Considering players from many teams entered the transfer portal the night of or the next morning, yes
