Good get IMO. Couldn’t sit on Leavitt who is at LSU now and possible will visit Miami still and risk missing out on a good portal QB.
Funny how it went down. He was getting ready to sign and peaced out when the Kentucky offer came in.

It had nothing to do with NIL and how much we is going to make.

Is this a good get? I mean, notre dame isn't very good.

How long will Nebraska fans be made to suffer? Feel bad for them

Going from Leavitt to a guy with 29 pass attempts seems a little tough

I mean, you can’t wait on Leavitt if you’re UK and then run the risk of not getting anyone decent.
Minchey barely got beat out for the starting job at ND. Stein has success with QBs, so I trust his evaluation.

The kid at ND who beat him out is really, really good. I think he’s going to be a household name next year.

Great get for Kentucky. He had to find a new team. He wasnt going to get any playing time behind C.J. Carr. Kentucky fans will like him. He's definitely an upgrade.

In other words Kentucky was tampering with him after he signed with Nebraska?

He had verbally committed but had not yet signed.

Man, Nebraska...
No major program has ever fallen as far for as long.
Tennessee sucked for a decade, but Nebraska is going on a quarter century.
They have lost 29 in a row against ranked teams. That is statistically insane...especially when you consider most aren't top 10 opponents or anything. They can't get wins against teams ranked in the 20s.
FSU and Nebraska were the premiere programs of the 90s...never could have seen this coming.

A little but not overly. Sucks for the way it went down but that’s the reality of this new age of college football and portals and such.
Should be a nice get for UK.
As for DONU, we can have the second coming of Fran Tarkenton step on campus but if our line play continues to be mediocre, it’s ultimately not going to matter who is at the QB spot.
I’ll (finally) be truly encouraged if/when I see we are ever truly again putting a premium focus on establishing the lines.

Two reasons....
One, the kid doesn't like the extreme cold.
Two, he actually doesn't know where UK is at.

Y'know, watching that great FCS Championship game last night, thinking about those Montana and Dakota schools. Wouldn't Nebraska make a great FCS school?

He's from Hendersonville, TN. If he doesn't know where UK is we have bigger problems.
