I am seeing a lot of people posting that “Ty’s Dad is done with Bama,” and “we have no shot with his brother now,” and I am just curious where people are getting this information? Or what the information even is? I know he is a college coach himself, so he likely has his own critical eye to what is happening behind the scenes. Any insight?

Ty's dad is correct in his assessment. He is smart to get his kids away from our offensive coaches.

I'm curious to where you are getting this information.

I am sure Ty and his family can read message boards like this. All the hate he has been getting I would not blame them.

To be honest though if that means his brother does not come here oh well. CFB has turned into an NFL version. You get paid to play now so if you cannot handle the fan expectations probably do not need to be playing P5.

I don't think message boards have anything to do with these sorts of decisions. I can't prove that hunch but rationally they are probably more concerned with the haphazard play calling and piss poor coaching across the offensive positions.

If you get your feelings hurt because of what people say on message boards, then you should avoid any major college program. If he stinks up the field for Tennessee and Oregon, you don’t think those fans will tear into him?
I’d imagine they’re more pissed because our offensive line wasn’t protecting him and the play calling sucked

I’m a slow typer. You beat me to it. I basically said the same thing.

He had time in the pocket many times before he got sacked. He had wide open WRs he never looked their way. What the hell did our OL have to do with him running for a 1st down and instead of sliding decides to take a hit?

I guess on here you either need to blame TY or go full out and blame the coaches. It goes both ways, but Simpson cost us plenty with his poor play.

Just because I criticized the offensive play calling and the oline I’m now a Ty defender?
I guess you’ve missed a few of my posts

Who cares? Ty has potential to be great, but with the coaching and his inability to hold onto a damn ball, he went from possible legend to Milroe without the mobility. He danced around the pocket and took too many needless shots to stay healthy. Most plays he panicked and ran too soon. You’d think coaching would work on that.

Maybe it’s because they trotted his son out there with cracked ribs to try and play football. That is potentially life threatening. One hit the right way in “cracked ribs” they break and puncture a lung.

I’m not disagreeing, but if he’s been hurt all along (back, elbow, etc.), he should’ve been benched weeks ago.

Maybe bc he has been told or he inferred that the coaches want to go in a different direction next year

Same people who claimed Milroe was holding the team hostage or the offense refused to play for any other QB...

I say this respectfully but if their decisions are based on message boards, mid programs like UAB that has no fan support is their best option as every Power 5 message board would be skull dragging his name today.

My post was made in jest because of the OP claims, but yes I agree.

After every game in the post-game interviews Simpson made it a point to go hug or whatever that was to Deboer. If the family had issues with the staff or if Simpson was getting forced to play injured than I guess the post-game actions were fake.

Nah, teams like SC, NC State, AZ state, Illinois, Wisconsin, etc. would all be thrilled at 28 TDs to 5 INTs with 3500+ passing yds. They’d welcome him with open arms and laugh at Bama for getting rid of him, but he won’t have to drop that low. He could go 12-0 and win the Heisman pretty easily at ND next year.

He could have won the Heisman this year if we could have run the ball at all.
