… to Tennessee or Oregon, or may file for the draft. Quoting “sources” which are probably his agent.

Take that as you will, don’t shoot the messenger.

Best of luck to him . Thought he did a heck of a job this year besides the OU ( first game) and IU. Took a beating and loves UA

Sounds like a Carson Beck situation. Tennessee doesn't sound like a super great fit because they really push the ball deep.

I think it’s best he move on. He seems like a good kid and he flashed greatness. Maybe a change of scenery will do him good. We’ve got a few posters here who have a pathological hatred of the guy but I wish him well and hope finds what he’s looking for.

Fourth round draft pick, maybe worse, or 7 figure NIL. He needs another year of college ball. It’s very similar to Beck’s situation last year at Georgia.

I was fully onboard the Tysmein hype train in October...but for whatever reasons he regressed badly. Pitiful OL and possible injury played a role, but that wasn't the entire reason. I'd hate to see him at ut...he's a good kid and represents the program well...I just think we need to move on. Hopefully he goes in the draft...very weak QB class...and has a Pro Bowl career.

Again it’s his home state and I saw one piece that said he was a Tennessee fan growing up. That stuff ain’t as big a deal for players as it for fans.

I peeked over at Vol Nation and people seem positive about the possibility, think Heupel can play QB whisperer with him.

Loy has been wrong about a lot of things lately so I'd take his word with a grain of salt.

That’s why I made sure to say take this as you will. I’m not taking anything as gospel truth until Ty goes on record about his plans.

Pshh, Ty isnt even in the top 5 of most scrutinized Bama QBs in the last 20 years. Which is a good thing.

Heck, even a career backup can make a LOT of $$. I seem to recall AJ made something like $16 million in his career. Not too shabby.

I like Ty, always have. Kid really loves Alabama too. It’s a rare thing for these guys to actually care about their university now. If he gets somewhere where he has some time to throw the ball, he will dice you up. I hope it is in the NFL, but where ever he is, I will be happy for him and hope succeeds.

I think Ty Simpson is a 1st rounder still. This is such a weak draft class for QB. He will go if he gets the grade I think he will.

Yeah, but that doesn't change the fact that he could do literally nothing right in some people's eyes on this board. I remember disparaging comments immediately after TD throws.

"If the DB turned around it would have been a pick! We were lucky!"

He could still be a first round pick, because scouts have seen what he can do against top college competition when healthy. Another season in college where he's 100% for the entire year could result in a Heisman season for him.

Ty seems like a really good dude. I hope we all wish him well wherever he ends up.

So you're saying better coaching and he'd be great... I think that's what several of us been saying.
