According to ESPN: LINK

quote:

After the Rebels knocked off the Bulldogs to win the second CFP game in school history, senior defensive tackle Zxavian Harris said Kiffin was again trying to steal the spotlight from one of the greatest teams in Ole Miss history.

"Yeah, he was just trying to steal our shine," Harris said. "That's all he's trying to do. That's all he's been trying to do is steal our shine."

Harris said Kiffin's abrupt departure from Ole Miss in the middle of a CFP run was like a "slap in the face."

"Like a slap and the backhand," Harris said. "He was trying to be a troll. We're going to troll him. We got something for him."

And . . . coaching problems?

quote:

With the transfer portal opening Friday, sources told ESPN that the Rebels aren't certain they will have all of those assistants with them when they play the Hurricanes in six days.

A source said some of the assistants have apparently pushed back on leaving an Ole Miss team that is two victories away from winning a national championship.

"There are going to be some fireworks," an Ole Miss source told ESPN. "We always knew this might be a possibility."

Idiots. What matters now is winning a national championship. Worry about rosters afterwards.

I 100% believe the players when they say that they told Kiffin to FO.

Most LSU fans on here were too stupid to realize the possible implications of OM continuing to win. A few on the Tiger Rant were getting it. Worst case scenario for LK and LSU going on right now.

Weis told Lane he would come but he was finishing the season no matter what. That's why there was a lull in his official announcement.

But McDonald, Smith, Cox, and some of the analysts were originally considering being done after the sugar bowl no matter what. I think actually winning the sugar bowl has made this way more interesting.

Ole Miss winning or losing has zero impact on LSU's football program going forward.

Yeah we’ll see. Already at a disadvantage not having a full staff together with the portal opening.

If OM wins it all, you don’t think some of those coaches may think twice about leaving Oxford for Baton Rogue?

Yes, everyone at LSU and Kiffin wanted this loss to happen so they could move on.

At this point, the coaches should be all in for ole miss

This is a disadvantage but not that big.

OM has to pray that this is so because the optics of players and staff scrambling to get out of Oxford amidst a playoff run will last longer than one offseason.

It’s already cost them a few hundred thousand. Also, I know yall thought yall were going to pluck the Ole Miss program of coaches and players, but if you don’t think that will change if Ole Miss wins a Natty, then you’re heavily mistaken.

Charlie Weiss Jr would be retarded to leave now. If he wants to be a head coach in the future this is his big opportunity

we have our full staff hired, birdbrain. Charlie Weis Jr. is at LSU Ops today working the portal.

I swear the average IQ on this board is less than 60.
