All jokes aside, I'm shocked at what I'm seeing.

I thought Bama was going to physically dominate these guys.

I figured they would out athlete em

Because SEC fans think only they play physical football. The last 3 seasons has shown the SEC does not deserve to be automatically considered to be playing some superior brand of football.

Seriously I am too. I thought Indiana would win but I really thought it would be close and not shocked at all if Alabama would win. This is shocking.

I did too - they are giving us an acid enema and we aren't even fighting it anymore

I was hoping so also, but Indiana has been looking very quick and very hungry.

Then you've only watched SEC games, ESPN and Paul Finebaum. Indiana has been a complete and disciplined team all year.
Alabama is soft. Their OL is a bunch of lazy fantasies that can't move and they can't run the ball.

Have u not watched football this year? IU is great. Bama not so much.

They’re an experienced, well coached team
This is the new college football.

Bama has no fire either. Odd to see.

Last year I would agree with you. After they went to Oregon and dominated that game, I knew they were legitimate. Also, this Bama team is one of the worst they have had in quite a while. When is the last time Bama was completely unable to run the football? I didn’t think it would be this bad but they have not been impressive this year outside of the Georgia game.

Indiana got a lot of 4, 5 & some 6 yr guys. I doubt Alabama has many at all & less starting. Say what you want but 2-3 yrs college development is a difference.
Posted on 1/1/26 at 5:14 pm to LSUlefty
Why? Indiana has done this to people all year and Bama could easily have another 2-3 losses.

Why would you think that after the SEC championship?

Listen to and watch the coaches. They ain’t Saban, Kirby, Venables, or Cignetti.
You might say “they don’t have the chest.”

This is why I don't think rankings should happen until the middle of the season. Too many teams like Bama and other teams in the SEC get the benefit of the doubt without having to prove it.
The SEC is not the only conference that plays physical football. In fact the Big 10 is far more physical now than the SEC.
SEC fans really are living on their laurels from say 10 years ago. Outside of UGA, no SEC team has truly been a dominant physical team since 2019 LSU.

Not sure about that. Portal, NIL, armies of assistants and analysts will be reverse engineering what IU did to create this in just 2 years.
And Georgia might remind us all that College Football hasn’t changed THAT much.
And …. OSU lost to Miami - which calls into question the entire B1G.
