He still living off the Alabama wins. If it weren’t for those, he’d be on the hot seat.

The timing has been very weird for him. If he had a QB like Aguilar last year everything would have lined up well for him. But Nico sucked and then this year we got good QB play but the defense took a step back and dealt with injuries. It was really good to see the scheme changes this year.
But elite coaches overcome those things. I think he's a good coach, probably not elite.

They’d be fools to get rid of him. They could easily go back to losing seasons
Heupal has them as a 8+ win program and playoff contender every few years which is far above where they’ve been since Krispy Kreme
