- Arkansas is partnering with The LinkU, a platform that channels business transaction fees into NIL funds, to generate athlete compensation exceeding the NCAA's $22 million annual revenue-sharing cap effective 2025-26.
- This marks the fourth Power Four school deal for The LinkU, following Texas A&M, Houston, and Georgia Tech, amid growing competition for top recruits through enhanced NIL opportunities.
- The agreement comes after Arkansas severed ties with its prior NIL collective manager, Blueprint Sports, in October 2025, reflecting a strategic shift to optimize funding in the post-House settlement era.

Their website looks pretty janky. I can’t wait to see this idea flop too.

Arkansas Athletics and TheLinkU are partnering to expand name, image and likeness opportunities for Razorback student-athletes.

The new agreement will power the NIL efforts of the Arkansas Front Office to generate legitimate above the cap revenue for Arkansas athletes. TheLinkU platform provides immediate opportunities for local businesses, brands and donors to engage Arkansas Athletics to partner with athletes in a variety of ways.

“Our partnership with TheLinkU makes us better in a number of ways very quickly,” Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Hunter Yurachek said. “This helps our student-athletes with legitimate NIL opportunities – both locally and nationally – while also giving our fans and donors the opportunity to easily support our teams or specific athletes.”

TheLinkU provides a portfolio of 30+ national brands and business, including technology, finance, apparel and consumer goods companies, that will be available to work with Arkansas athletes. For local brands and businesses, TheLinkU platform simplifies the process of working with athletes to promote their businesses. Fans will enjoy several different ways to support their favorite teams and athletes through the platform, from memberships to specific athlete merchandise and autographs to personalized videos and opportunities to meet athletes.

“We are incredibly excited to partner with Arkansas Athletics to build upon the momentum surrounding Razorback student-athletes,” said Austin Elrod, CEO of TheLinkU. “Arkansas possesses all the necessary elements to be elite in the NIL era: a passionate fan base, a powerful statewide brand and a connection to some of the world’s most successful businesses. Our NIL Ecosystem, led by our national partnership network, brings significant revenue opportunities that benefit student-athletes while providing alumni, fans and business leaders with meaningful ways to participate in the success of the program. Throughout this partnership, we will bring a relentless work ethic that focuses on adding real value to the Razorback network and community.”

This seems like a big waste, why couldn’t we have anyone of the money managers handling billions for the Walton’s, Hunts, Tyson, or Little Rock people do this.

They probably don’t have any clue about the inner workings of athletics compliance or policies when it comes to this stuff I’d imagine

If Frank was alive, he would have Arkansas rolling in NIL.

This joker is an awful salesman.

We are in a tough situation. Potential large donors are not going to support Arkansas until we show them something. In this case, I believe a grass roots campaign is called for. You buy a certain burger from Dave’s Burger or another AR food chain and a portion of the proceeds go to NIL money. You buy a car from a give AR dealer and a portion goes to the NIL. You buy a gallon of Highland dairy milk, a portion goes to the NIL. We need to think outside of the box. We have the most loyal fanbase albeit not the wealthiest in CFB. I can’t think a true Hog fan who wouldn’t pay a little extra to get Arkansas back to what we used to be. We might not be Natty material but on any given Saturday, we could run a front runner’s chances of making it. We were respectable. First things first. Get the NIL funding where it needs to be and then build for a national championship.

These 3rd party collectives for NIL are just the latest grift/fraud.

They haven't passed us in baseball but that didn't stop them from winning a title as a regional 3 seed with fricking Bianco as coach.

God just hates us.

Unfortunately, in the "buy players"/"championship-or-bust" era, Yes they have passed us in baseball. Same for UT and MSU.

Sucks to suck. Shoulda caught the foul and not fired Bobby the first time. Damn Shame.

They're fresh off of completely missing the tournament two years in a row in 23 and 24. They won 6 SEC games total in 23. In no world have they passed us as a baseball program.
