Bielema: Tennessee didn’t want to use Vandy’s facilities

Illinois Head Coach Bret Bielema inferred that Tennessee declined to practice at Vanderbilt’s facilities in anticipation of the Music City Bowl:
“To use Vanderbilt’s facility, an SEC team, we’re the first Big Ten team to be in this building,” said Bielema. “Usually the SEC team is always in here, but I know Tennessee really did not want to use Vandy’s facility, which I understand.”
The SEC team visiting the Music City Bowl traditionally uses Vanderbilt’s facility to practice. Tennessee opted to use Montgomery Bell Academy’s facilities instead.

We practiced at Vandy in 2017 and 2022 for the MCB.

Someone in the UT admin office at least had some forethought to keep them from dealing with a scandal in a couple of years. Hypeall would have a all kinds of bugs planted up in the meeting rooms and coaches offices.

I'd argue we are a rival of Vandy. Been playing since 1896 and the record is 48-45 in Kentucky's favor.

So you've played Vandy since 1896.
But a lot of teams have long histories with other teams in their conference and don't consider themselves actual "rivals".
Do you consider yourselves rivals because of the competitiveness of the series?

Vandy doesn’t really have much of a fanbase. So both statements are true
