This line is worse than the 2005 bunch by far.

Do you mean the 2000 bunch? The 2005 group wasn’t bad.

If you mean get a guy or two from the portal, I agree. If you mean many of the our current O line players should hit the portal, disagree.

I refuse to believe all or most of our current O linemen are busts. Most of these guys are former 4-5 star recruits. It HAS to be the coaching and development. Been saying this for weeks, Kapilovic needs to be fired as soon as the season is over.

Not saying improved O line play would solve all of our issues but it would dramatically help.

The OL that dubbed themselves the "Pancake Posse" coming off a great year was as bad as it gets. I forgot the year. I thought the OL played pretty well after the first quarter. They gave Ty just enough time although we cannot run with any consistence. Ty played a solid game.

2000 was the legendary, self-dubbed Pancake Posse.

You may be more familiar with their actual name, the Flapjack Flops.

I think that the 2000 unit wanted to name themselves Pancake Posse. Maybe?

I think you got your years mixed up. The 2020 o-line won the Joe Moore Award and helped Alabama win the national championship. It was our last great o-line. Leatherwood, Ekiyor, Dickerson, Brown, and Neal.

We'd be a shoo-in for the natty this year if we had that o-line.

Deboer hiring of coaches has not been overly impressive on the offensive side for me. Hope OL coach and Grubb both find somewhere else to go.

I was thinking about the Honk if you sacked Brodie game. That game has blinded me from the entire 2005 line. Lol
