Good Lord! The guy lost his job, that’s enough punishment. He did a stupid thing, but it doesn’t rise to the level of assault.

The Trooper behaved terribly and probably ought to be fired.

Considering the player ran into a tunnel where a loaded military howitzer is stored, ain't shite happening other than a strongly worded letter and loss of income from no more gameday assignments.
Refs missed a 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty for taunting on that. Been a 15 yard penalty since the U started pulling that stunt in the 80's.

This is just stupid.
