Depends on how you measure the Barn's piped in noise.

I’m guessing no but I’ve never been to Norman. That said from bamas perspective it will be much louder. Bama barn(as with most in state rivalries) tends to be a more mixed crowd

No. Went there last year and it’s not close to Auburn.

Might take a look at OUs home record, but night games get very loud.

Just wait and see. When the refs let them score a free touchdown, that place will go crazy.

Norman has been rockin' all season long at home games and it gets plenty loud.

To the dumb Vol....

If you were really there last year, you were at a game we weren't competitive in where Jackson Arnold was officially benched for sucking and you didn't hear loudness???? I'm shocked!!!

I went to the LSU @ OU game this year, so the game itself probably had a lot to do with this. It only got loud when they scored the go-ahead touchdown and again when LSU was going for it on 4th down on the last drive. After that, the celebration knowing they had a playoff spot was pretty good.

It could also be the stadium itself. I go to the RRS just about every year, and usually sit on the OU side. It seemed like the cotton bowl was louder, but again, that game's against a traditional rival so it could be situational.

I doubt Oklahoma fans could make the TV cameras shake to where it looks like an earthquake in the stadium the way Auburn fans do to Jordan-Hare.

One thing to consider is that OU fans don't really hate anybody besides Texas. They didn't really hate anybody in the Big XII because they usually beat them.... and the SEC teams have brought some excitement to the stadium....being that they are new teams and better brands... but there is no real hate for anybody in the SEC... at least not yet.

I do however, expect this game to be one of the better crowds if there is anything to get loud about.

The Missouri and LSU crowds didn't get as loud because everyone was so frustrated by OU's offensive ineptness.

“Plenty loud” is not the same kind of loud as you get at some of the great SEC venues. You don’t get to play the “we suck card”. I’ve seen plenty of bad Tennessee teams at Neyland were we all pretty much knew we were going to lose get far louder than anything I heard at Gaylord. Same goes for Auburn.

Is OU’s stadium as loud as the Barn?

When Alabama goes to Auburn it is a rivalry game with a sold out crowd screaming for all they're worth so no, Norman is not going to be THAT loud.

There have been a couple of night games in Memorial Stadium that everyone in attendance said the crowd was much louder than usual (2008 vs Texas Tech, 1983 vs Nebraska), perhaps this one will join them.

In the 2009 iron bowl that barn was the loudest stadium I’d ever heard and had been to all the sec stadiums pre Aggie and Missouri

No, just went to the LSU vs. OU game and it was quiet until LSU's last drive. However, had a great time and the fans are very nice.
