Hey Bama guys, is this story about your QB having back pain a smoke screen?

What do you expect from your offense in the way of play calling for our game?

I think I read your WR are all healthy now will that change your offense from the last game?

It is all over the Bama MB here that Ty has a bad back…..

If true I would think the betting odds balloon…..

OU will have a better pass rush this time around…..

If you've seen him play lately, it doesn't seem like a smokescreen. I don't think the public really knows but it seems that way.

R Mason Thomas is back. If Simpson doesnt have back pain now he will soon.

The common belief is that he does have a back injury of some kind. Exactly what the issue is and the severity of it is the question. If I recall correctly, during the Iron Bowl Holly Rowe mentioned trainers using a stim machine on his lower back and hip area when he was on the sideline between possessions.

I think the decline in the quality of his play has been due to both injury and the mental aspect of the game (like lost confidence).

I prescribe acupuncture.

It stimulates the nerves.

It works.

Noone knows. If there are any true insiders, they arent really saying much other than hes had some "back issue" Is that soreness, pulled muscle...maybe only coaching staff knows and they arent saying.

Its probably safe to say Bama will be slightly improved from Auburn/Georgia games but youll get more of that offense than the offense you were getting in September.

Bama is gonna try and play field position football against OU and it will be a low scoring game barring a slew of turnovers

I dont think Bama ever was really an offensive juggernaut at any point. Theyve been a ball control offense the entire season and teams honed in on tendencies and made a one dimensional offense even more one dimensional which brought an already average offense to a slow crawl.

I agree, and also that we're not really adjusting correctly to what defenses are doing.

Which is compounded by the fact that we've played a handful of elite defenses lately.

In other words, I think Ty is get baited into pre-snap adjustments that he doesn't need to make, and our banged-up OL, RBs, and TEs aren't good enough to block for that extra second or two that he needs to recover while our receivers are running 35-yard posts.

First I heard of it was the other day. Who knows. If he's out of his mind due to pain meds, he shouldn't be playing.

If he's injured he shouldn't play and I can't imagine the program allowing him to play.

The rumors are a smokescreen excuse for why they're playing like shite on Offense and to set the stage for why they lose AGAIN to OU next Friday

If the QB's not up to it, we could have Julio Jones and Smitty and it won't matter.

Oh shite did a Bama player stub his toe? You’ll never hear the end of it when you beat them.

I have no idea, but his accuracy on even easy passes has been pretty bad.

I'm not sure about any WR stuff. Our TE is the biggest loss of late, but we had him against Oklahoma in the first game. Jam Miller was just finally getting healthy again and looked his best so far against Auburn, but then got injured again. Not sure if he'll be back.

If Alabama is able to get back to what it was when we played Oklahoma last time and we don't have the stupid mistakes/turnovers etc, we should when easily.

If Alabama continues to look as it has the past few weeks, it's going to be a long arse night for us.

It could just be that he's not injured and is way off. The defenses we have faced in our last 4 games according to F+

#8 LSU
#4 Oklahoma
#12 Auburn
#11 Georgia

So it very well could be the defenses.

However, against Oklahoma we did have 400 yards of offense including 3 drives over 70 yards for TDs. It was the turnovers and special teams that fricked us.

Generally, I ignore so called insider bullshite.
