Which current school is the first to leave the SEC?

For all the hate ND is getting, I honestly wouldn't mind Alabama being an independent as long as we could keep some of the important rivalry games.
That's not a knock on everyone else, but at the end of the day my interest is in Alabama rather than the conference. I think it's by far the toughest and most competitive conference with lots of great teams in it. And that's exactly why I'd rather be independent at this point because none of it seems to mean shite anymore.
What's even the point in revenue sharing now? Why pay for smaller teams to be better if them being better doesn't benefit the larger teams by increasing their SoS? Revenue sharing I think is a large part of what has made the SEC this strong. Even though they might not do as much, Miss St gets the same conference payouts as Alabama on the major contracts etc. And yes that benefited Alabama and other teams because SoS use to matter.
So tell me, what is the real benefit to being in a strong conference now and doing these things?
Just seems to me there is a "secret" agenda to create 2 power conferences and squeeze anyone else out with probably some congressional exemption to turn it into an NFL style shite show. There is no other logical reason for what has been going on. They are turning all the basic things the sport was founded on and the reason why we formed a strong conference to start with upside down. Former benefits are now hindrances.
But it'll probably be Miss St.

If ND made the playoff, I could see Texas trying to capitalize on eliminating revenue share split by 16.
But ND might be lamenting the fact that they are not the big10 or sec right now.

I can't see A&M leaving the SEC. They're engrained. It was a seamless move for them. I thought it was cool to see the LSU rivalry come back and I think those two schools are more intertwined than most suspect. (FF: Rice has old school history with the Tigers too. I think we finally play again in 2029!).
Aggies leaving makes no sense because they don't have a peripheral option like the SEC was for them. Where would you go baw without taking a step back and having culture shock?

The only chance of anyone leaving will be all the big schools together leaving the small schools behind to join the megaconference with the big schools from the B1G and ACC

I think it's too deep.
"Managed expectations" can only last so long.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Arkansas leave, they have options.
Bama poster above said State and that'd make some sense too if they found a good landing. I could see political power in Mississippi forcing a split instead of divvying resources in state to two SEC schools.

Longhorns (maybe). I do think they're the only school in the conference that could find real success as an independent.

South Carolina isn’t much known for winning football or basketball games but we can and will secede from any sort of conference or union. Done it before and will do it again.

Very interesting idea.
The SEC is not really the SEC anymore and hasn't been now for some time.
