Both crying for different reasons, although maybe Ole Miss is over Kiffin leaving.

I get that Ole Miss is mad their best coach in a generation left for an annual opponent who they already have little man syndrome for.
Notre Dame got jumped by a Miami team THEY LOST TO THIS SEASON, and they have the same record and similar SOS/SOR.

Like it or not (you’re a Tiger fan, so I don’t expect you to be objective on this subject), Kiffin drug out the self-centered dramatics for weeks.

The fans and media did most of this. Kiffin always said he'd make a decision after the regular season and waited until then to do so.
Sending his family to Gainesville and Baton Rouge was fairly immature, although many Ole Miss fans insisted he was just trolling us at the time.

You and I both know he made his decision to leave long ago. He was lying about considering staying. It was about where he’d leave to.

Yeah, any ill will Ole Miss has towards Kiffin is because of the way he left, not that he left.

I don't blame Ole Miss for melting over us stealing Kiffin from them.

Ole Miss complaining about Lane leaving? Hmm I'm way more sympathetic to that than ND throwing tantrums even though they have a history of it.
LSU fans throw just as many tantrums but at least their football program and AD do not.
I totally understand fans being pissed. It's ok to get pissed but then it's smart to just forget about it and move on. Fans are not rational about their teams but I do expect the players and staff to not do that shite that ND is known for.

Both teams have good reason to be upset.
I hate that Sankey, B1G commissioner and others bow at the feet of Notre Dame. Have no idea why they do it? Next year they get an auto bid of they in the top 12. They play by different rules and I hate all that.
But make no mistake. The committee made them believe they were in for weeks and pulled the rug out the last minute. And they concocted the way to do it when they had other alternatives. I'd be pissed too if I was their prez, AD and coach.

He still waited until the end of the season to make his move, just like basically every other coach, just like he said he'd do.
People aren't pissed because of how he left, they're just pissed he left.
