Send stallion Stoops and our defense in for one last game. Offense can stay home to save on travel costs.

A team that goes 5-7 has no business being bowl eligible anyways

A team that loses 2 games has no business being in title contention with undefeated and 1 loss teams

And how many teams have zero and one loss?

It often costs teams to go to a bowl. I mean if Auburn charges for tailgating space, they aint going to a bowl unless they get paid.

If these opt out trends continue, they’re going to be asking some 4-8 teams

More than enough to have a championship game

Surely those who are refusing bowl games also forfeits any additional income created by those conference schools who make a higher bowl. This is assuming they share according to their conference bylaws.

I love it - college football trying to keep shite bowls for money with a playoff is pure non sense.

North Dakota State got upset Saturday. They’re 12-1. I would actually watch them play a D-1 team in a bowl

Auburn, Kansas, Temple, Baylor

We created an incentive structure that incentivizes teams and players to only care about playing for money and a spot in the playoff.

Now we’re bitching at them for opting out of a game that means nothing and has no bearing on their future.

We are dumb as a society.
